When the earth is shaking. When mothers call their kids inside and lock the door. When enemies are sweating in their armor like in a Finnish sauna. Then you know the Mulgore Gnometrotters are coming.

This was actually my absolutely favourite assignment of Arena Pass: Community Challenge competition. We were asked to interview a player from top 8 team from 3vs3 Tournament Realm ladder.
While I've been busy getting familiar with the top 3vs3 teams of the arena ladder, I've noticed things that have been known in the arena community for ages already: which classes are doing good on the games and so are fotm (flavor of the month), and are so most represented in the high end games. I wanted to know a bit more about the whole deal and decided to talk to Verdisha and Kolori, who know about arena, and of course have multiple gladiator titles from various seasons.
Arena Pass: Community Challenge is now drawing to it's end. This will be the last week for me to check the ratings on Tournament Realm and report how different teams have been doing. After I'm done writing this (and a handful of other achievements for the challenge) it's time to head to Sweden and Dreamhack, and after that it's Firelands time. As I know I'll be more than busy with pve stuff it's kind of fun to take this last look at ladders and enjoy the arena competition.

Another week has passed and it's again time to take a look at how things are going at Tournament realm. As the tournament has now entered locked teams state, the rankings of the teams start to matter in a completely different level. In the process, a lot of teams have completely vanished, as many were created just to test out different class combinations see and what works for each team the best. So now we have the players and the teams and we'll see who'll end up being the number one.
Again, the screenshots for Arena Pass: Community Challenge are up and the public can vote for their favourites. So make sure you don't forget to give out your vote at Blizzard's site.
Also, thanks for your votes last week, we managed to get a healty bunch of achievement points! (who doesn't like achievement points)
It's again time to take a look at Arena Tournament ladders. My first concern was how my team, shadowlulz was doing compared to winter is coming. Seems like I didn't pick that good, since winter is coming is leading with 8 rating. I hope boys can get it together before the end of the challenge, or I have to pay my and arx's food for one week. I still have faith in the team tho, after all they have a warlock and a shaman which seems to be the key to success. Also, 2 of the same class shouldn't work that well together, shouldn't it?
The votes for this week's best screenshot are up, so make sure you take a look at community's beautiful characters and of course give your vote here.
The sweat was pouring on xenophics' forhead as she waited in the preparation room of Blade's Edge arena for her first real battle. The staff felt heavy on her back and she didn't feel comfortable in her new combat robes. "Ou mai gaad jubeto, mitä me tehää?" she whispered in her native tongue to her companion, a strong and quiet orc warlock Jubeto. Luckily the spellcaster had words of comfort for the nervous troll: "We do what we always do, kill the skull and fear the cross".
