Blogs are here

Cataclysm has arrived to Azeroth and shattered the whole world forcing major changes through. It seems to be so effective that it even reached our website: We are happy to present the new Blogs feature along with a promise, that there will be other major changes coming. A big thanks to everyone who has given us feedback about how to improve the site.

There will be some Paragon members starting their blogs, but we have also recruited a few researches, Ladan and Zeotrix to talk about their work and research here on our site. We asked them both to tell us a bit about themselves and their research:

Ladan(the first blog entry is available here)

My name is Ladan and I'm a PhD research student and fellow raider at Durham University in the UK, researching the raiding subculture of World of Warcraft, looking at spaces of play, interaction, and raiding structures and styles among raiders in the game. Check out my blog where I share what you and other raiders are telling me (and what I've found to be relevant) about the game, raiders, and our raiding culture.

Zeotrix: (the first blog entry is available here)

My name is Sebastian and I am currently a master-student in Political Science in Gothenburg, Sweden. I'm currently completing my master-thesis which will be about how World of Warcraft can affect how the people playing are viewing and experiencing democracy. Do not forget to check out my blog about World of Warcraft, democracy and academia.

Stay tuned for interesting blog entries from these two guys, Paragon members, and of course those changes that will be implemented to the site soon™ .
