• The Raid Observer: Week 3, Tuesday Update (with a wall of sound)

So I've opted to record my update for today. Read on for the podcast link!
I injured my right hand yesterday so in my bid try and rest it, I decided to record a wall of sound for you. It's only 6 minutes long, though, so not so bad! Right? Anyway, I cover a few things like the world first kill of Madness (congrats Kin Raiders!), some general impressions of how the race is going, and a few comments on whether Tier 13 is truly the unluckiest tier race (for some, at least) ever.

  • The Raid Observer: Week 3, Weekend Update

Some interesting developments over the weekend so far, most notable being our very first 7/8 kill, thus providing a small bit of movement to a race that's got more and more guilds queueing up at the 6/8 stage and even more joining the overall heroic race. Read on!

  • Goodbye, For the Horde

For the Horde is one of the oldest high end raiding guilds that we've had the pleasure of being competitors and good friends with. They have always strived to be the best without losing their motivation and soul. We respect the dedication they have put into the raiding scene the past few years we have been competing with them. They have had their ups and downs, but their kills speak for their skill: world second Lich King and world first Cho'gall have earned our respect for the German guild.

  • The Raid Observer: Special Sunday--The Round Table Podcast!

In this very special issue of The Raid Observer, Ladan meets up with members from four of the top raiding guilds to discuss the current race, the LFR ban drama, and the alleged US/EU guild tension! So I sat down today with eight members of four of the top tier raiding guilds to discuss the recent LFR ban, the current tier 13 raiding race, and the so-called conflict between the US and EU guilds. The guilds and members that participated are:
