I have a couple of questions around my gear choice, talents, and serpent sting application specifically; but first thing is my armory here: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-shee ... =razearrow
Please note I only play as MM now with a rather standard 7/57/7 with exception of maxing hit due to gear availability.
My questions are as follows:
1-) I chose to omit Dash in my wolf spec, concerned about the potential loss of focus; thoughts on this as I've most of you having Dash?
2-) Would it be wise to swap out NES for Greatness (or badge trinket), and fully regem ARP at this point? it just seemed no matter how I have tweaked the spreadsheet I seemed to get less dps in return; of course I hear you loud and clear NES is close to trash. (and I kind of concur lookin at my own procs)
3-) Your thoughts on timinig of re-applying serpent sting? I've been having a tough time deciding between culling herd and 2T10 proc but would love to get a rule of thumb here.
I am sure I must been doing something wrong there (partly also because we don't have the perfect raid set-up missing key debuffs); really admire you guys taking the time helping us hunters out. Much appreciated!
1. the reason why i have dash is that its a higher speed increase then the passive one, its active only when its needed, and there is no focus problem what i have noticed, having more then 50~55% crit gives allot of focus to your pet you know...
2. if i ware you i who'd keep it as it is now until you get something else. spending 5k might be a big bundle of cash for some players and you will only replace it soon anyway, but i can recommend you trying to gather more apr gear in the meanwhile so once you get that trinket your looking for your not standing there whit 50% passive arp
3. thumb rule is on 2T10 proc, and then keeping it up whit chimera. the best that could happen is that you get it in the start and have it applied the whole fight, an example is getting he proc on the go first 5 sec into saurfang whit all that ap and the proc increasing your sting, mine does about ~1.3k a tick nowdays on normal fights whit the t10 proc and ~1k without. on saurfang i have never had the time to look
adamnlion wrote:Hello, I am just curious to a few things that may increase my dps; Currently in my 25man runs with the Guild (casual raiding) I am able to push around 9.8k DPS. I am, sadly, using the NES, but I cannot seem to get WFS, DBW, or DV to ever drop and when they do, I lose the roll; and Greatness tends to run around 4k - 5k gold on my server currently.
My priority list is: Silencing Shot > Kill Shot > Serpent Sting > Chimera Shot > Aimed Shot > Steady Shot until CD's are up. I never use my Rapid Fire in conjunction with Heroism and I have my Armor Penetration as close to the Soft-cap as it can get with the damn NES.
on spreadsheets, it shows number of 10.2k to 10.3k dps, and I am 400-500 lower than the spreadsheets.
I am mostly just curious to see if there is anything you would recommend changing/improving Kruf.
thanks a ton, mate.

the only thing i can notice except that you obviously need new trinkets is that i do wounder why you don't use rapid fire whit heroism/bloodlust? that's mostly the second i pop all my cooldowns (rapid, racial(orc),potion of speed(or wild magic, depends) and anything else i can force, and immediately once it run out i time it whit a readiness and activates it again. this way you have rapid up almost for the full duration of hero/blood
then again, i don't really know if the damage increases in the long run whit doing this or whit poping cd's when hero/blood is not up. all i can say that i am still my guilds top dps so it must work i guess...
also spread sheets is never 100% right, the damage there is without human error or moving or anything really that can f*ck it up
