• The Raid Observer: Day 2 (or Day -5) Update!

Well, not much to report really, mostly just a bit of news on the overall attack of the normal modes by guilds everywhere and a bit of news on what's (not) happening with the elite race so far.

The progress sites continue to be a bit wonky, which I realise will continue until the guild scans and whatnot are complete. Kruf explained this to me last night and while I tried to look (textually speaking) like I had a clue what he was talking about ...

  • The Raid Observer: Dragon Soul Raiding Progress - Your Day 1 Update!

So I'll be posting some basic observations on progress each day during the race itself. In fact Paragon asked me to not just provide updates to interested readers on their progress but also track the race in general. Since raiding began yesterday on the American servers, I'll start off with a short update today and then keep adding information, at least daily and sometimes even more as the race heats up. Yes, yes, I know the "real" race begins next week with the heroic modes, but I think how we're moving through the normal modes can be quite informative ...

  • Skull of Gul'dan lorecorner - War of the Ancients trilogy

Now with the recent patchnotes for 4.3 were released containing information from the End Time, Hour of Twilight, Well of Eternity, and of course the Dragon Soul, I thought I'd get this started. And I'm talking about hc lore. Even when my guild mates tease me with comments like "make sure you don't watch the rp during the quest line, we won't wait", I'm the kind of player that enjoys the story part of World of Warcraft as well.

  • Pizza, mountain dew, and nachos....

Crumbs strewn over his stale t-shirt; crumpled cans of energy drink lay about; you can see evidence in the gamer's beady eyes of the early onset of sugar/salt-related dementia; the requisite unmade bed sits in the background... the gamer begins to resemble his food: beige, tasteless, and incoherent.

Or are we? Obviously the afore-posted video is an example of a stereotype on steroids. Sure some of us might let the deskspace get a little messy... or even resort to what's known as board chow (http://www.inktank.com/files/comics/2001-04-04-board-chow.gif) from time to time. Yes, that's what you get when you turn your keyboard over and shake out the crumbs (?). I suppose you could call it a kind of cooking.

  • Paragon and our associates - together we are more

It hasn't always been easy going forward, keeping on raiding with our eyes set on getting world first kills and being as good as we can ever be. During the last 3 years we have been able to see things none of us would have imagined to see, go to places we just dreamed of, and met people we didn't know existed.

  • Paragon vs Ragnaros music - interview with Matti Paalanen

Since Icecrown Citadel and our Lich King video, we have always paid special attention to the music choices in our videos. Our goal is to make the fights we show to everyone feel truly epic - just like we are feeling when we are learning the fights for the first time, and then closing in on a boss kill.

  • Boss is dead - Paragon Q&A

After our Ragnaros kill we put up a thread where we asked people tell us what they wanted to know about our Ragnaros kill and t12 progress. I collected all the information and the questions and will now try to go through your requests in this short blog with the help of zyn, Deva, Kruf, Wakoz and Hermanni.
