Holy Question About Playstyle And Stat Priority.

In my guild we run two holy pallys, (sometimes 3)
Were about 50/50 when it comes to healing on almost every attempt but we have totally septate playstyles and stat prioritys.
He almost exclusively spams Holy Light, while putting more emphasis on haste rather than spirit.
His unbuffed stats are as follows. about 15.20% (1946) Haste and 2239 In-combat regen (not including the Jar which adds about 515 regen)
While I cast Divine Light quite a bit (not exclusively for my regen cant entirely support it and its not always needed) while putting more emphasis on spirit rather than haste.
My stats are; 10.95% (1402) Haste and 2577 In-combat regen (not including DMC and Jar which adds about 915 regen)
Im thinking my regen is to high and I need to drop some spirit gear.
(Neather of us has a 2pc bonus, and are identical when it comes to ilvl as both of us are 359)

After thinking about it, im actually curious as so which playstyle is more efficient and has more throughput. Or is a mixture of both is better? And i wanted to get your opinions.

His playstyle is better, because he can put out more HPS when needed while still sustaining reasonable HPS overall.

Even with the regen your playstyle isn't going to be as effective as his. He'll get more out faster and for less over time. You shouldn't aim to build spirit let the gear take care of that for you. Int>Haste>Spirit. Also you want to be spamming holy light until a situation arises that you actually need to cast divine light, or worst case scenario flash. All the while remembering to keep your judge up, shocking when the cooldown is up, and watching for daybreak and infusion of light. Then just word of glory/light of dawn as you see fit.

When Daybreak procs what is better:
- Cast it twice in a row get your Holy power faster
or
-Cast a non-instant healing spell and right after that Holy Shock for more healing done at once and the same after that for the second Holy Shock.

It would be nice to take advantage of the cast time reduction when HS crits, but it's also important to put it on cooldown as soon as possible. Hard to say which is better but I definitely end up casting them in a row often.
