Just a quick update, Maloriak is now dead in 25-man heroic mode. The whole thing is a long and sad story which we'll tell later when the progress is over.

Can You elaborate more? Did it have something to do with Sejta DK tank / feral tank choice?

There isn't really much to it, some blue posts said that we wouldn't be able to turn back from normal mode to heroic if we kill a boss on normal, cba to search for those now, someone can paste them later. So we were just banging our heads on Magmaw which needs to be killed in order to progress to the later parts of the instance.We tried to do it without kiting the adds to omnitron stairs which we considered an exploit or not intended way. We realized that the raid locks don't work the way the post said they would after some guild killed Maloriak, causing us to lose a shot at world first kill. We killed it with ease though and progressed to chimaeron and lost the world first against Method by roughly 1 minute.

Yeah Jubeto is right, I've tried to be more neutral after those. But I'll start a blog about the t11 race once I've got some time. Should be in a few days.

To add to Jubeto's post: We paged a GM asking specifically about the kiting, after trying it out and finding out that we can easily kill Magmaw with that tactic. The response was that it's an exploit and might lead to a suspension.

Go figure. It was quite bullshit at the time. 8]
