The Paragon Bridge

As we stated yesterday, we will work together with Dreamval to create the Paragon Bridge between Paragon's members, our community here, and the Chinese community. As all the questions, answers and thoughts will be translated to English, there is great chance for even the older forum members to learn something new about us. So keep your eyes open.

This topic will serve as the central portal of the project. Only Paragon members and Dreamval will be able to post answers to the topic. Other posts will be deleted, so if you want to post something please consider a new topic/existing thread. Ultimately, to support the Paragon Bridge, we'll create a new forum section where different moderator permissions exist.

I'm excited too see how this project plays out, and can't wait to virtually meet other World of Warcraft players from China.

Till this point I don't think any of us had made any separate, new addons the whole guild uses. However, there are modifications to for instance grid and especially new timers we add to bigwigs when progressing on a boss. Most of stuff we add to Bigwigs will get added by the creators of the addon later, so everyone will have the access to the knowledge of the timers (and that way mechanics) eventually. There is of course the possibility that we could start sharing those modifications earlier (together with videos etc). I guess the best way would be to work with the people who update Bigwigs. The thing is that we lack contacts that way.

It would be great to get at least Kruf's answer to this, he and Kahva are the ones who do the addon work in Paragon.

Besides WoW, any other interests?

There are 32 members in Paragon, and we come from different parts of Finland and are of different age. So it's natural that the interests inside the guild vary a lot. While playing and chatting with our guild members on Teamspeak there are however some themes that keep on popping up every now and then.

A lot of us spent a lot of their time watching different series (anime and western) and movies. A lot of people are also interested in other games such as HoN, Cod or Starcraft 2. We have a lot of members watching SC2 matches live from internet.

Most of us work or study, so that takes time as well.

It's hard to say if there are any other "popular" interests within Paragon. Of course a lot of our members like to go to a bar after a first kill or celebrate and drink with their friends on their freetime, but that's pretty common in Finland (and everywhere else I guess) anyway.

Myself I spent my time reading various pages and forums over the internet, taking care of Paragon's site and other guild related things. I also study graphic design and try to improve my skills on my freetime as well. I got 2 house plants I like a lot (1 died when we were away for too long :/ ). I also spent a lot of time with arx, who lives together with me. I guess that's pretty much everything I do. If I had the time I'd probably take dance/karate lessons but that's about it.

Any comments on Kungen?

As a guild we do not really have opinions on individual players - and we don't think personal opinions deserve public scrutiny as they can never reflect the views of the whole guild.

I can say that we do appreciate the guild Ensidia as a good competitor though!
