Hi
if you're having mana problems take all the mana talents (in this case you're missing one point in moonglow) and use your innervate once you're at 55% mana.
replace all your lvl 80 gear with 85 greens / blues
make sure your group has replenishment and blessing of might etc for extra regen
for dot refreshing / spell rotations, check here

Hi,
Firstly may I apologise for the seemingly poor knowledge base that my question comes from but as a re-roller from tank I am interested very much in balance.
I was just wondering what sort of numbers you are pulling at the moment and I ask not as a number whore but just to try and gain some level of comparison with the very best. I believe from what I have read/practiced/asked that I am using the optimal rotation/spec/professions but still numbers seem low compared to other classes at the moment so would like a take on it from 'the very best' :P.
I can imagine you get many questions of this nature but I really would appreciate a reply and with it any context you could give as in where you sit relative to other classes at the minute and how that has moved since icc25 hc (where I began my balance career although very late into icc)
Thanks, Ranee

Yes people, i also exist... Where are all the "question for xephros" threads?
Anyway, we do very competitive damage at this part of cataclysm atleast. Our singletarget is not _as_ great as some classes (nerf hunters..) and you probably wont be top 1 damage on those fights. But there are many good fights in current raid instances for moonkin where we can multidot various bosses / adds (our dots are a major part of our damage now). In fights like these it is possible and quite likely for us to be #1 on the meters if you are able to handle your eclipse meter right (having solar eclipse up when you have to aoe, dot stuff and cast mushrooms). Even if you are a new moonkin, I assume you know how the eclipse meter works?
At the moment I feel its horrible for us to wipe on a boss since our eclipse bar resets. It really affects how you have to play a fight depending on what direction it chooses to reset to (heading for solar or lunar). And sometimes it can greatly affect your dps. For example getting bloodlust and having adds up just when you gain solar eclipse, with dots.. Its just too delicious compared to having it in another state. But either way, yes, cataclysm is going to be full of awesome for owls.

Hi!
I have a question: what is the important first line of spellpower or hit rating because there are not too good on my gear and it is trying to bring out the best and I think a few more of my spellpower but if i turn up only one trinket of spirit then i can change up somehow the term will have much less faith in the Dps ... :S

Hello,
hit rating is more important than spellpower, or any stat for that matter until you are capped. Usually you do not need to worry about this too much, since it is easy to reach. Just reforge your gear to spirit/hit. I see you have not done so for some parts of your gear. Check your character sheet, you will see how much you are missing from the spell hit % cap. Cap is 17% (or 1742 rating) for bosses. Dont get me wrong, int is still a godly stat for us, but I mean, actually hitting boss for 200 less with a spell doesnt matter if your spell doesnt hit at all, right? :)
I know you cant do this for your trinkets since you are wearing int ones. You should be able to reach the cap without a spirit trinket, also if you run some dungeons theres some nice trinkets there that you can reforge to spirit if it is needed. Also an all stat enchant on your chest and a new leg enchant will give you more spirit. Or gemming int/spirit gems in a few slots helps too.

Hi again! :)
Again have got a question : my mana is not really running out, so I should put 2 -3 talent point on the Owlkin Frenzy for more damage and not be a maximum of only 1 point in the moonglow?
Thanks!
