Hello im Elorya balance druid, im the only active balance druid in ouer guild so i decided to ask you guyes for a bit of lets say help since im a bit confused whit ppl saying something and then think differantly. First of all how important is mastery for balance druids right now? Shall i go for it or just reforge hit in to crit and hast? secend thing is trinket im planing to go for sindragosas spell power one (when she decides to drop it) and reforge some crit in to hast, but there was someone saying that i should go for ruby senctorium one, the thing is that i already have trinket whit hast (rotface HC one) and i dont see the reason of having 2 hast one and also sindragosas one gives 300 more spell power and lasts for 5 sec longer. http://www.wowhead.com/talent#0IfMdRrokouZbc:RabRqmcz0 this is my telent build and glyph selection. my problem is that i cant do more damage then warlocks and recently even a some dks (i dont even count mages and thair 100k crits i gave up chasing them). my rotation is dots, starfall or wrath till eclips then when procks refreshing dots (refreshing sunfire as soon as i can) and starsurge every time that procks. Well trees and starfall when awalible offcorse exept on some bosses i barly use it like rotface or LK in first phase. Well if anyone can tell me for what to go because curently i have mix of mastery and hast and not realy confidante that it was a right choce. well ty for help in advence. and i hope i did not complecate things :)

Mastery seems rather crap for us at the moment. Haste would be the better choice for reforging, haste is our best stat right now. ofcourse crit is still good but i have seen higher dps with haste over crit.

For rotation, i use dots Wrath till eclipse, IS MF starfall starfire till eclipse, Sunfire IS wrath spam repeat, ofc Starsurge every time it's of CD. i use my trees at the start of every fight, but that's just cause my guild blows lust at that point.

As for the trinkets. i am not sure, as haste has become such a good stat for us.
The halion trinket DFO/Phylactery ur personal choice really.

Know you probably wanted to hear from some paragon members but i thought i would throw my thoughts in here aswell.

Hope it helped.

I am using Black magic at the moment but i switched before the patch hit, so i havent done any testing yet. but i would think the haste is a dps boost over the 64 Spellpower.

Not sure tho, maby oneof the paragon druids can shed some light on this.

actually I am playing elemental shaman, but I'll probably play Druid with Cata
so my question:

which professions are best?
Leatherworking (I hope -> too lazy to respec)
So what's second?
Inscription? Alchemy? or at least engineering?

A Good profession for a balance druid to have is tailoring for the enchants that they can weave on their cloak ie Lightweave Embroidery (embroiders a subtle pattern of light into your cloak, giving you a chance to increase your Intellect by 580 for 15 sec when casting a spell) or if you have a resto offspec then Darkglow Embroidery is good (embroiders a magical pattern into your cloak, giving you a chance to increase your Spirit by 580 for 15 sec when you cast a spell), tailors can also make Powerful Enchanted Spellthread (Permanently embroiders spellthread into pants, increasing Intellect by 95 and Stamina by 80) which is good for balance druids, they can also make other spellthreads as well.
With regards main hand enchant i have seen alot of balance druids with the Power Torrent enchant (Permanently enchant a weapon to sometimes increase Intellect by 500 for 12 sec when dealing damage or healing with spells), or the Hurricane enchant (Permanently enchant a melee weapon to sometimes increase haste rating by 450 for 12 sec when healing or dealing spell or melee damage).
Mastery isnt one of our most important stats at this moment in time, as of this moment in time our stat priority is as follows:-
Intellect, Spellpower, Hit/Spirit, Haste, Mastery and Crit this is going along with what Elitistjerks has said and most balance druids will swear by. Their website is always a good point of reference to check out with regards specs and updates, with regards raiding you do want to get your hit to 17% soft hit cap, once you have done that then reforge items to haste.
The trinkets i am currently using are Darkmoon : Volcano and the Stump of Time as when they proc it gives your spellpower a huge boost.
With regards what you have said Elorya i dont know if this has helped or you wanted someone more experienced to help, i hope this has helped a little, obviously make sure that your reputation is at exalted with the different factions so you can get the enchants that are available from them.
