Enhancement Shamam - Gems and Meta Gem

Hey, for Cataclysm I decided to get some Enhancer Gear since leveling as a Resto Shaman won't be that effective .
Well I was basically checking Rhimz Gems, Glyphs, specc etc. I just got a weird question?

I can't get the Meta Gem to be active, since I have more Red than Blue Gems, I guess. But checking Rhimz gear in the armory tells me he has way more red than blue gems, yet the Meta Gem is active? Why? Am I stupid? :D

No my metagem doesn't work. Heard that they are changing that ''more blue than red gem'' requirement on the wotlk metagem but doesn't seem it's going to happen. So yeah, must pick something else for leveling atleast cause it's really retarded to get it to work right now. Unless you are missing shitloads of hit :)

Personally i like the gem http://www.wowhead.com/item=41400 Thundering skyflare diamond
worked best for me i liked it out of all the gems that we can use since that one is off unless they fix it soon for leveling, the haste is a nice 500 and it procs a bit
at 85 i would go for the http://www.wowhead.com/item=52289 Fleet Shadowspirit Diamond
mainly for the mastery

That gem is partially wasted due to us having inherent 15% run speed. From my testing the standard DPS meta wins out, even with the hit gemming required (AGI/hit is a fair replacement).

Note that the old Relentless Earthsiege diamond is likely better (from my testing at least) for all agility classes than even the new 51 crit meta.
