Hi. how are you guys finding boomkins to be in beta at the moment compared to other caster dps classes?
Not been able to test beta myself so some general info would be nice.
Just wondering if they are as nerfed as they are on live at the moment.

Hello,
yeah, moonkins do well at the moment atleast. We still lose to warlocks (op..), but other than that its pretty good. Atleast we own mages in dmg (hi baltha!). No but in all seriousness, we are in par with the other casters, after they nerf warlocks.. Typhoon will be really needed (or atleast wanted) in some of the fights in the first raid instances, knockback is just too good for adds. So better chances for a raid slot. Movement is also alot better now cause of the DoT changes (affected by haste and crit) they made in 4.0. It was quite a pain in the butt to move in wotlk as balance, wasnt it? Really looking forward to cata launching, moonkin is going to be full of awesome!
Also, I dont find us nerfed on live :(. I don't expect to top meters, but I'm loving the new eclipse, the wotlk one was so full of ..things. (RNG ftl)

Ok sweet, thanks for the info. Im having fun on my boomkin now so hopefully cata will give me the same satisfaction =)
Movement dps is up by alot for sure, and we can actually keep up with ither classes on fights with alot of movement.
