Troll VS Orc

is there any numbers that are saying that one races is better then they other for hunters? :)

According to www.femaledwarf.com , trolls currently holds the best dps output.


With my current gear (look up Zalaren on the armory), changing from troll to orc gave a 100+ DPS boost, that's nice for just changing races.

It is because trolls have that shiny crit bonus to bows (which all the ICC ranged weapons are).

considering stakethrower HC is the best ilvl 264 ranged generally so that crit isnt always good depending on your raid guild.

True, but that doesn't make orcs better. Also, 75% of all normal raid hunters got Zod's / Njordnar's.

Also, if I dropped Zod's to get Stakethrower HC instead, AND gemmed / enchanted it, it would be a loss of DPS. Perhaps it is because that I exceed the ArP softcap (I got NES).

Well, thank you, but I already knew that.

But this is a discussion regarding whether trolls are better than orcs on a pure DPS basis, not some "what gear should I go for" thread.
