What kind of sreadsheet/sims you DKs of paragon use for optimizing your gear? My self i've been using rawr but i've heard that rawr is not the best program for DKs.

@Synti,I was looking at your last log on wol (where you are ranked 5 @ world at hm festergut) but I have a question.
long time ago you talked about weaponswapping to roll cinderglacier on boss.
But I can't see cinderglacier debuff on festergut,so I am curious if you still use to roll cinderglacier via god.

hmm,I think that the reason is mainly that fights are not long enough to make it worth.
But on our first tries on saurfang HM (10 %) I had really nice numbers rolling cinderglacier+tott disease with saurfang going close to enrage (about 14.8k dps with 264 gear+251 mh and oh with 10 % buff).
Another question.

Some sims put an haste+strenght heavy set with 2x Raging Deathbringer even higher to an arp capped set with 2x hc havoc.
That's quite strange but i have seen combat rogues having same results on their sheets.

No, I haven't. That's pretty damn interesting though. If it was equal on stand-still fights, I'd expect it to get nerfed however.

i assume u got the raging deathbringer thing from rawr. Unfortunately the rawr proc rate is wrong (and rawr.rogue is horrendously inaccurate).

That's exactly what I thought Bledoc,and that's why I'm asking.
I just reed about raging deathbringer on some boards,and whas curious about.
For example googling I've found this (crappy tbh) description.

From what I reed there this shaman has around 5 % proc.
The main problem with his "bench",is the fact that he is not trying to see if it procs from different spells.
Here,there is another enha bench:

What I am curious about is from what it procs.
For example looking at my last festergut I see:
48 obliterates (both mh and oh)
87 melee (both mh and oh)
46 fs (both mh and oh)
15 bs (both mh and oh)
61 bcb (both mh and oh)
12 hb
a total of 269 possible procs.
Assuming 5 % proc it is 13,45 procs in a 4.19 minute fight.
Assuming 1800 damage x 13,45 procs it is:24210 damage more.
Even adding necrosis (212 possible procs) the damage will be 43280,still not worth being the proc around 1 %.
Ok the axes are 2,so the proc will lead to a total of 2-2,5 % damage.
And even adding both ff and bp it will lead to not more then 3 % of total damage (around 400 dps,pretty crap in exchange to ilvl jump).
Tomorrow I will bench the difference between havoc's and raging deathbringer's using kahorie (without the proc) then I will better calculate the proc value and dps.
If the proc will result bigger than ilvl+stats difference,the next question will be only:"what exactly makes it proc".

It wouldn't be the first item that's got a proc that isn't working exactly right and is outrageously good because of it. I'm gonna be highly critic about this particular weapon though - the proc chance would have to be incredibly high to make the weapon viable when compared to any of the ICC 25-man loot.
Still, I'd very much like to test it out to see if there's anything to it except for bad simming.

4.0.3 is now live but to use runestrike your still required to dodge/parry (in blood presence).
Will this happen in 4.0.3a/Catacylsm or was this change reconsidered?
