Another potting question :S

When you prepot when do you use the 2nd? Me and my fellow hunters were trying to figure out the best way. Suggestions were your 2nd RF in the beginning, during BL, or your next DBW or 4pc proc. Thoughts?

Personally I prepot wild magic w/ rapid fire and use my potion of speed when i get double trinket proc or DBW + 4pc/2pc.

It doesn't really make a huge difference exactly when you pot, long as you do it. If the fight is likely to be very short prepotting Wild Magic for the first set of cooldowns probably makes sense, in a longer fight you could perhaps delay the first Rapid Fire that 10 seconds and use a haste potion instead. For the second potion I'd always use haste, preferably when you have some good trinket procs up (and no other haste buff up at the same time).

I've seen the Wild Magic trick a few times, but I don't really see where it makes much of a difference, and then you have to carry two different types of pots. I just double pot with speed, but like Kruf said, I think it's more important that you do it rather then how or when you do it.

Why not stack your 2nd haste pot with rapid fire along with trinket/t10 procs so you get an exponential gain from your CDs? That's at least what Kripparrian does in his vids.

i was talking about his "how to do top dps in WoW" video, but during heroic lich king im sure the last thing he worries about is gaining 10dps by delaying RF

I don't think you're right actually. You can see on Exodus' sindragosa kill that he uses RF along with heroism. I know he uses a wild magic pot, but that's probably because he used 2pt9, so he wanted to get the extra crit to his SrS.
On heroic lich king it's prolly like other fights once you get them on farm; you want to do as much dps as possible (that's just how I feel atleast).

I think his "How to dps" video is kind off outdated on the potion part, as your stat values change when you're in bis gear, compared to the gear he had when he made the vid.

Ok, so you're saying he was maxing DPS on sindragosa while it was tough progression? i dont know about you, but when i was attempting heroic sindragosa with no hellscream's warsong i was a lot more focused on surviving than optimal CD usage, you might want to take a look at a recent exodus festergut log or something
