A DK 5,9k GS WITH 4k DPS in ICC - NEED HELP !!!!!

Hey Paragon folks !

I started playing wow in march with my DK (Stormscale) (rouge 55). As a noob , my dps didnt really matter during my leveling. I finally dinged 80, and started my gear-up in dungeons and during a lot of blackmailing a finally got the GS required for joining raids. Now i am a DK with 5,8k GS, which means - i've got some awesome epics. But i've been having a big trouble due to raids - my dps sucks no matter how much i read on the internet. In fact, i've never done more than 6k gs in ICC25 - even with the 20% buff!
I took a good specc from one of the best DKs (guild participated on realms first LK25 HC) - even the specc Devah used (unholy). My rotation was PS,IT,BS,BS,SS,HoW,DC,DC and pretty much improvised during the rotation (dont misunderstand what i just wrote). I've got kicked from many raid-grps and been rejected from guildraids because of my DPS. I've even considered leveling up a new char, but with a 5,8k char - that is just wrong.

So zyn - the reason why i send this message is because i really want someone to tell me excactly what i need to do and what rotation i need to use. Im pretty much still a noob, so it would be nice not to take it too complicated.

It looks like you're using items only because they increase your gearscore. This is BAD, which among other things has lead to you being almost 8% over the hitcap. Activating your meta gem would also help.

This being said I think your dps problem is still in your rotation, so we need some logs to further analyze that.

Yeah, because it's cool being incredibly lazy and have other people do all the work for you.

There's so many things wrong with his gearing etc that could be solved just by reading a half-decent guide. Having people he wants help from jump through extra hoops because he can't be bothered to provide easy links or useful information is not the way to go.


I just can't believe for a moment that he has read any guides. If he had, the fundamentals wouldn't be so flawed. If he did, then he's just being lazy and hasn't done anything about it. Either way it just comes down to being really lazy, showing pretty much no effort.

I've helped out a ton of guys in-game, on IRC or on the forums but I don't even feel like replying to this one is worth the effort. He could simply go re-read a guide and that would fix 95% of his problems, instead of having other people do the work for him. That's a horrible attitude to have, especially when asking for help.

But i don't think my gear is the mainproblem - i've seen DKs with more poor gear than i've got doing a LOT higher amount of dps in ICC

Man it's easy reading a guide, besides, the kind of help you need you can pretty much obtain it in-game. Ask other dks, try to pair with one.

I've just began raiding. Your equip is way better than mine and yet i do about the same DMG as you do, it's unbelievable. I'm positive gear it's not your problem, maybe it's just Unholy it's not for you, should try Frost.

Maybe you are too slow pressing keys.

Heard DKs need 20% hit kai. On a serious note, if you cant figure out how to gear a plate class once you hit 80, its a pretty lost cause. If you cant google "Blood DK rotation 3.3.5" or "Unholy DK rotation 3.3.5" then im lead to believe your personal carer installed the game for you...
