Hi Paragon hunters and everyone else,

Have a small question about your expriences with tranqing the shamblers when you only have 1 hunter. I know some of your raids you had only 1 hunter like here - http://www.wowmeteronline.com/combat/15294389#damageout

How did you managed with tranqing, espeicaly when 2 are up and usualy one also goes into Frenzy..are you using special stun rotation or specific class for the shambler tanking ? Are you suing a different shambler tactic when you have only 1 hunter for that raid ?

Thanks,

Lya

Thanks Lazei,

That would work of course, but wouldn't that mean putting a rogue on shambler constantly ? or would you have him run back and forth ?

This might increase the % of a shadow trap on the kiting path on certain p1 tactics, wouldn't it ?

Not to mention it might interfere with passing the plague to the shambler.

Or did i miss something here ? :D

There are only one or two enrages when two adds are up so its not a big deal for the rogue to run over and dispel it. If he isn't a total retard he can dodge traps on the way, notices if he gets the plague stack and doesn't run away too early.

No idea what other guild's kiting paths are but we don't care where a trap lands. You dodge it anyways and handle positioning based on the trap locations. If your strat fails instantly when there is a trap in a "wrong" place your strat is horrible and you should change something.

The time between enrages is fairly constant too, so if the rogue is paying attention to the timer it's not that hard.

Or you can use a DK tank on the shamblers and not need to worry about the frenzy at all...
