im actually from the realm gul'dan but i've been told that paragon is the best guild and you seem like you know A LOT about locks so i have a question. I'm a demo lock and my gearscore is 5963 and im only pushing about 7k-8k dps in 25icc. I know thats not where i should be and i know i should be doing more than that but i have no idea wat to do anymore. I've tried fixing my rotation but it hasn't helped. I'm using glyph of life tap glyph of felguard, and glyph of quick decay and my stats are 3878 spellpower, 342 hit, 44% crit, and 1013 haste. Wat do u suggest i do and any advice would be greatly appreciate it.

Your DPS does seem extremely low for your Gearscore. But then again GS is only half the fight, playing efficiently is the rest. How are you raid awareness wise? Are you finding the correct path that minimizes downtime on DPS? I'm going to assume your rotation is good and you're planning your Life Tap's at key points ie. moving.

By the way i'd also like to know how much Demo Locks should be roughly doing. If you check out Dram from Archaic Order (on LB also) he's running Demowith 1500 Haste, I have a feeling that's way too much so told him to drop some for pure SP or perhaps Crit.

I see nothing wrong in telling your gearscore, atleast it gave me a rough idea on with what kind of tools we are dealing here. So please refrain from posting if you got nothing smart to post except being a jerk.

Hi there.

I play a demolock myself ;) To give a referance, i have 6283gs and do 15k+ on a boss like Saurfang hc. I am geared for Demo so have lots of spirit gear and going for spirit+Haste when possible.

Dont know how u manage your procs from molten core and decimation, but those are one of the keys to upping your dps.
I use PowerAuras to keep track of when they proc

And then its just making sure your dots are always running.
Immolate is maybe your best dmg, and Corruption procs Molten core, so that needs to be up always. And if u can see that the boss wont live long enough for another Meta, then w8 to use it until the boss is under 35%

And as others have said, try to time your movements with spells like lifetap and corruption.

And on fights where there are adds, try and make sure u hit them at least once while under 35% to proc decimation, for a little more dps.

And should u have a Decimation proc and going back to the boss, im pretty sure u will still have to renew immolate instead of just spamming soulfire until proc is over.
