Paladin discussion

Hello, I'm now leveling a Paladin who I intend to play as Retri in PvE, I was just wondering what weapon is worth going for, I have the frost emblems and money enough to get it as fast as I win the blood for the Quest, But I'm kinda wondering if its worth it. I'll have acess to Marrowgar heroic 25man so the chances on getting Bryntroll heroic is good. I will also have acess to get Oxheart heroic.

Anyone can of course answer me on this simple questions.

Question to DiamondTear:

I bumped into one of you "Healing" videos on youtube and there was one thing that stiked me and it was your DoTimer-style. I've tried so many trackers as a holy paladin but the majority of them just simply sucks.
I've have been tweeking DoTimer it for a week now and I can't get it to look like yours. Is there any way you we could change that?

Blacklisting if I am correct. It is quite easy when you fiddle with it. Just set up an anchor showing only the abilities you want to track then hide everything else.

i would like some tips for tanking because i can tank every dungeon exept HoR and it really starts to irritate me.

This question is directed at Lazeil:

Playng a prot palading myself, I am having some hard time deciding what items to go for and what items to skip. After browsing different armory profiles I see that some tanks tend to go for the high iLevel pieces with lots of stamina on them, and some, including you, go for the pieces with the highest EH.

So I guess my question is this; should I just stick to the high armor pieces I have ( they tend to top the BIS lists) or should I go for items such as the belt from fester 25hc, the cloak from princes, the bracers and leggs from marrow 25hc?

I know that some items are situational, but my guild uses DKP and im not sure if i should bother burning my dkp on an item that only works for e.g DW and BQL.

I can't remember the exact options and I cba to go look for them, but make sure you have advanced mode enable, icons instead of bars and blacklist all the skills you don't want to see. You can also set sacred shield to group communication thingy if you want so you don't overwrite it.

Thats how I did it after fawning over your videos and then figuring out that you shouldn't have to post anything. With DoTimer it is all trial and error for me.

first of all sorry for my poor english,
I have some questions for DiamondTear,

1) Do you think Blessed Hands is a usefull talent for a pala holy or not ?
2) Do you think Royal Scepter of Terenas II it's better then Val'anyr, Hammer of Ancient Kings ?
3) For a pala holy, x-perl+clique it's a good combo or you reckon grid+clique it's to be preferred ?
4) I have seen in one of your video, the position where you have placed your grid (top-left of the screen, more or less), is it comfortable ? I mean it's great to have all the screen clear, but it looks to me it's not easy to heal with grid in that position.

This question is for Lazeil mostly since it is connected to the Protection spec but ofc other players can answer :).

So, my question is: I just received Petrified Twilight Scale (normal) version from Halion 25 and the other 2 trinkets which I have are Sindragosa's Flawless Fang normal and Corroded Skeleton Key.

Which of these 3 I should use? I think at least encounter-wise Haliontrinket would be good for hardhitters such as Festergut or HC LK, or am I totally wrong? :P

4. It's easy to heal like that. As long as grid is reasonable close to your character, it's ok.

4. It's easy to heal like that. As long as grid is reasonable close to your character, it's ok.

So, to avoid the redundant and repeated questions, what macros are you using? I mean I use the basic mouseover but do you use stuff like focus, or targettarget? Also I have been finding it harder and harder to find a comfortable keyboard set up. What are you using if you don't mind?
