Almost no gaming or tech related board survives without "Post your PC specs" or "Post your desktop" or "Post your gaming station" threads to satisfy our nerdy needs :) So let him have it.
Won't make him better, but it doesn't hurt either.

I agree with Niroth. That's not a nice thing to say.

Alrite let me rephrase.... Why is he asking only for paragon hardware specs? No one is asking that for no reason... On the other hand, performance in game most if the times is because people have shadow quality high.
And again, it really doesnt matter what kind of hardware you have. All current computers with a decent CPU and a simple GPU run wow good.
Anyway wasnt ment to be not nice.
And the only way to get better is to learn encounters, known your class and think ahead in the game. The more you play the better you become (if you want to improve atleast.)

He invited everyone to post their specs, with a special "invitation" to the Paragon members as this page is obviously about them, making them the "stars" and thus the main interest of most (or even all) visitors.
But I agree with you. Any current PC should enable you to play WoW without any problems, even with a decent amount of addons in use.
Still, people like to know as much about the Paragon members as possible or think whatever they use / do is THE thing to do in order to be good / better / improve.

I'm running a Q9450 @ 2.8GHz (for stability), 4GB of DDR2, and a 8800GTS (g92). Still having some performance issues at times with everything at minimum, but I'm guessing that's mostly because of addons.

CPU - i5 750 OC.ed to 3.6 Ghz
GPU - HD4870 with some minor OC
Memory - 4GB of DDR3 @ 1800 Mhz
HDD's - Samsung F3 1TB drive as maindisk + 3 older HDD
WoW runs very well most of the time.
Extra 4GB of ram and SSD-drive would remove some of the bottlenecks tho :)
