Yo Paragon.
First of all, gz to you guys and for your achievements in the last few months - you guys have obviously reached the pinacle of raiding and hence its why I'm coming to you chaps (and chapettes) for some advice.
Firstly, I love my ele shammie and have played him since TBC. I dont intend on faction changing and I do theorycraft as much as possible. I feel I have done everything I can to increase my deeps, from changing rotation, glyphs, macro's etc but I still seem to be falling short of my fellow raiders - I'm aware that ele shammies scale probably the worst in terms of gear than any other deeps right now (arguably). In ICC, I'm usually dpsing between 8-10k.

What I need to know is, is there anything im missing? I would like to ask a few questions to see if you can steer me in the right direction (even if it means just squeezing out that extra bit of deeps):
1) I know there is argument on using glyph of FS - since the last patch - whether it should be replaced by either flametongue weapon or lava. I know they can be both situational (flametongue better for more stationary fights and lava for more movement heavy fights). However, overall, which of the 3 is better to stick with? I've done dps tests and cant conclusively decide. I'm obviously sticking with glyph of LB and ToW.
2) I still hear arguments of using CL, but tbh I never seem to use it unless in a fight with multiple mobs. Afaik, sticking with FS>LvB>LB (x5/6 depending on haste) and repeat is pretty much the way to go. Is that still true? Again, I know the very odd time there might be a moment where you may not have time to fit a LB but can do a CL.
3) Should fire nova and frost shock be used in a regular rotation? Is it better to try and fit one in and lose half a sec on casting a new LB? Again, with trash or mulitple mob fights I do you this and on the move I do cast the odd frost shock. How about throwing down bombs? Does it increase deeps much?
I do use macro's with haste eng enchant, heroism with pots of wild magic and when not having to throw done ToW I use searing totem and fire elemental with heroism. Afaik, I've got the best 2 (again, arguably) professions - eng and JC. Gear wise, I'm pretty good - according to WoW heroes it's 3264.
Soooo....is it me? Have I missed something? Or is it simply that im perhaps limited by the fact that ele shammies scale so bad with gear compared to other deeps (and the fact that although I do have a good pc and net connection, it isnt TOP of the line)?
I'm just looking for some feedback and reassurance that as a player. I'm doing everything I can do improve my deeps and earn my spot in raids.
