Hey Synti.

I've got a simple question about the BT+UA macro.
my macro looks as follows:

#showtooltip Unbreakable Armor
/cast Blood Tap
/cast Unbreakable Armor
/cancelaura Blood Tap

BUT
this macro doesn't work. ^_^
first, i have to use the macro twice but /cancelaura Blood Tap doesn't work at all. I have to cancel the buff manually and that's what I have trouble with.
I'm playing with this UI and as you can see I might easily missclick and cancel umm Greatness instead. :D
so I would be glad if you could post the macro you are using . =)

You actually answered your question yourself. Look at the macro I posted. Sorry for those spelling mistakes.

Poor Synti is probably looking at these two pages worth of questions, holding his head and groaning :P

Sorry my friend, but we value your opinion and want your advice (other Paragon DKs too)!

So today I decided to recheck the Elitist Jerk's Unholy thread and found some interesting tweaks, which I'm surprised weren't made earlier.
It looks like HerkumI War Token jumped up the BiS trinket list to number 4. That's right my friends, the only trinkets that EJ says are better than it would be both versions of Deathbringer's Will (I got mine this week, yay!) and heroic Death's Choice. Apparently, the War Token even out-DPSes normal Death's Choice, but not by too much.

The main reason they've provided is because haste becomes much more valuable for Unholy DKs with a Frost subspec.
I can understand this- we have a 20% modifier which can stack with a further 20% if there's a Frost DK or Enhancement Shaman in the raid. As it is, the 0/17/54 build shows melee being the highest portion of our damage. Many DKs also have a 340 haste boost every minute with the Engineering glove enchant, plus DBW procs.

According to EJ, Haste is so valuable that Unholy DKs may want to start switching out Inscribed Ametrines for Fierce ones (i.e., replace crit with haste).

I'd like to know what our Paragon friends think about this. I sort of groaned when I saw it because haste started out being a bottom priority stat for us in 3.3, went up in value after the SS nerf and is now being declared to be even more valuable than ArP.

Do you think it's really worth regemming and giving the War Token priority over everything but the 3 trinkets I mentioned?

My question is

Should you use unholy with frost as sub or blood. Seems im doing better dps with blood sub than frost sub..Why? According to all sites etc it should be the opposite..

which sites?
Frost or blood subspec really depends on your current gear.
If you have a lot of arp, that's normal that blood pulls over frost.Especially if you have non proccing weapon.

Hello from Germany!!
Now I switched from Unholy to Frost Specc and it´s very nice. Here´s my question:

What´s better to take: haste or ArP? And if i can get ArP at HardCap, should i do this as a frost dk?

Thx 4 your answers.

Hardcapping arp is not worth it as frost. You lose too much in the AoE department.

Also, haste is probably on par with arp. I remember simming and it ending up with the result that haste was slightly better, actually. I've had some gear upgrades since then though.

Hello, first time here at this forum. Have been reading some of the stuff about dk's and i was glad to get some back-up on my point on engineering :)

This is a question about dw-frost dps.
First of all, if Rawr by any chance does not work optimal atm. for gearing dw frost dks, this entry doesn't have a point.

I was looking through Rawr noting what gear that will be an upgrade etc. Nothing shocking suprising, untill i came by my weapons.

The Onyxia-loot: "Raging Deathbringer" ilvl 245, should be out-performing my current weapons: "Frost Giants Cleaver" by 200 dps each. And the only weapons that're better Are Heroic Havoc Call of Lordareon King, and Heroic Bloodvenom Blade.

Edit: If you want to download my character down to Rawr and test it yourself, it's EU-ArgentDawn-Berenja

I can post stats on both of them:

Frost Giant's Cleaver: 374-695 dmg, 2.6 speed, 205.6 dps.
62 agi, 47 sta, 94 AP, 45 crit, 35 arp

Raging Deathbringer: 371-690 dmg, 2.7 speed, 196.5 dps
Chance on hit (9% according to Rawr) Shadow Bolt with 1458-1874 dmg

So my question is, can it be true that the Raging Deathbringer is better than my Frost Giant's Cleaver? I was asking around some DK's i knew and thought were kinda smart, and they all said Cleaver, and when im told them what Rawr said they got muted :( . So now you guys are my hope :)
