What engineering does Rakez/Maeil has? Gnomish/Goblin?

Im a rogue and Im new to WoW, I learnt engineering and is about to choose a side,
I wonder which should I choose in order to give good effect for raid/dungeon,
Gnomish or Goblin Engineering?

I know that goblin is for bombing and gnomish is for gadgets, so which is better for raiding?

I'm Gnomish as it used to have THE CHICKEN.
Goblin is probably better now but the difference is negligible.
