I just had a question regarding Unholy. My DK is currently specd 7/3/31 http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/moon-guard/Lowallyn/talent/primary My question is about Improved Blood Tap. Does specing into IBT create any sort of issue regarding rune rotation, like would it throw my rotation off by generating an extra rune, and causing a new cd possibly resulting in a dps loss?
Or am I just over complicating it and it really doesn't have any negative effect?

As far as I know, Improved Blood Tap works perfectly well as long as you use it on properly on CD. Obviously if you aren't using it effectively it results in nothing but wasted talent points. I'm not entirely too well versed in Unholy though.
However, looking at your spec, I think you would be better served putting points into AMS, especially with the amount of AoE magic damage that goes out in DS; I'd put 2-3 points in AMS.
