Log reading help

Hello i am posting in hopes of someone who is good at looking at logs can take a look at these logs and tell me what the hell i am doing i feel i should be pulling more dps then i am and this week's dps was down by 4k from 2 weeks ago i'm not sure what changed so here's links to both logs and my armory and yes i am below hitcap slightly and i'm doing so for more crit.(I can easily reforge my wand for hit to get to 16.99% hit).

Looks like you just had REAAAAAAALLLLLY bad RNG. I would actually say you played better this week then you did two weeks ago. 650k difference in fireball damage due to low crit rating this week. This resulted in a 260k ignite damage loss. Which also appears to have led to some weaker combustion. 200k less, and of course, less staff DPS.


If you're interesting in improving your DPS, the a big upgrade you could do is to line up your first and second combustion with velocity (your trinket buff) you have a 20 second window to do so, so it shouldn't be a problem in most circumstances. that adds a couple extra ticks to your combustion.

I try to line up the combustion with the trinket proc most cases it lines up with a raid mechanic or i end up not being able to get a good ignite i try to aim for at least a 20k maybe i should try for less with the trinket proc?
