You will likely need to load the profile "Guromin" within several of the addons for it to display correctly. I know for sure you will need to this with ElvUI, Quartz, and MBi, but there might be some others as well. I do want to note that Mage Mana Bar often resets to it's defaults on my screen and I have to change the settings. That may be why it is cluttering your screen. If you are fire it shouldn't even show up.
Sorry for the inconvenience,

Guromin,
The amount of work you put into this guide to keep it updated and keep the information relavant is insane! And now you are offering to put even more time in and run LFR with people... Words fail me. I'm sure I speak on behalf of the entire mage population when I say it is very much appreciated.
I was wondering, with the haste proc trinket (insignia of the corrupted mind is it?) Would you take a smaller ignite when you combust if the trinket is procced? If so how much smaller ignite?
Thanks again

Yumo,
I'm happy to help, but you are certainly right. Things are getting a little insane recently, which is great. I'm thrilled that the community is growing. On that note, my apologiez if I have not answered your question yet (especially people who sent me a private message).
If the trinket is procced it is certainly worth taking a slightly smaller ignite if your gut tells you nothing better is coming soon. I would settle for a 20-22k ignite if the trinket is up. I do believe we have similar item levels so that should apply to you as well. As far as the "gut" instinct goes, I just mean to take into account what is going on. Is the boss taking 100% increased damage; are you under bloodlust?
Littleown,
I'm glad you like my UI and I'm also glad you got it working. Sorry about all the trouble it caused you :(

Guromin,
Thanks for the guides and all of the work you have done to assist other mages. I have been trying to fix my DPS since before the holidays. I have never had a problem before mastering DPS for a class so the lack of results I have here have been maddening. On 10 man H-Ultraxion, I can't seem to rank above 30K. I am well geared, but I don't have the staff. Even so, I should at least be pushing 40K (in my mind).
I would appreciate any input you or others have. I don't believe there is a problem with my rotation. You said to someone who was similarly geared as I am that they should be seeing 1.5 million damage in combustion on this fight. On the attempt I linked below, I did just over 1 million. I'm not sure if I'm missing something for the remaining 500K.
I have a feeling that there isn't any magic answer, it just seems so odd that I am at 30K when general consensus puts me at 40K. Any input is much appreciated.
Here's my Armory page: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/r ... iks/simple
For this kill, I had the LFR-chest, Normal-hands, and Signet of the Infernal Avengers instead of H-Infinite Loop
And here's the log for my most recent H-Ultraxion: http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/1wfo ... 804&e=3122
We only TW once, at the end of the fight. We didn't have our shaman in the group so I could provide the only TW.
On a side note, I'm also very curious to get your opinion, and others, on the legendary staff and it's proc. It obviously works perfectly for stacking ignite. It seems to me that it does an excellent job of both reducing poor-RNG and pushing some insane ignites. For instance, anything over 20K is a good ignite for me, 30K is awesome, and I've only seen over 40K a few times (without special fight mechanics). Do those of us without the staff ever have a chance of looking like real fire mages? I'm about 10 weeks away from getting the damn thing and am despairing that I ever will have it. Is that staff accounting for me being 30K when I should be 40K?

Fizziks,
Hi. I looked over your logs and I noticed a few things. For whatever reason you didn't blood lust, which is a fairly significant dps increase and can profoundly change the size of an initial combustion. It both makes ignite stacking easier and increases the number of ticks in combustion.
Your raid composition is also missing a few buffs (3% damage is a big one).
Your first combustion was weak and your 3rd was outstanding. Ideally, you should aim for every single combustion to be strong, but I realize RNG plays a large factor in that.
Your reforging appears to be correct, so no comments on gear. Living Bomb application also appears to be good.
There are no warlocks in your raid so you need to keep up Critical Mass. There were a few extended periods where Critical Mass fell off and believe me, that hurt your damage. On a good attempt Fireball should crit about 45% of the time (with your gear). For you, it only crit 36% of the time. That is more than just RNG. This also affected your Pyroblast! damage because that will normally crit less and you get less of them. Keep Critical mass up with a scorch if it is going to fell off.
Do not use Flame Orb if the boss is going to die before it has done all of it's damage. It wont give you the same damage per second if it only hits the boss for half the time it's out.
For the most part it looks like you have a good handle on Fire mage dps, but the 10m lacking buffs and combustion damage are holding you back.

Hi Guromin, First of all, thank you for writing this guide, it has helped out a lot.
I have a few questions regarding a relatively undergeared mage. I recently hit 85 and currently have an item level of 376. I acquired T13 2-set, and the dagger off of deathwing, and I feel like they didn't really help my dps what so ever. Running simcraft, it is stating that during a patchworkesq fight, I am only supposed to be pulling an average of 21k DPS. To me this feels a little low, so I was wondering if Fire Mages rely quite heavily on gear or if there is truly something I am doing wrong with her. I am hit and haste capped (Under T13 requirements) so I know I am not missing out there.
My second question is in regards to ignite stacking. While my question above could potentially answer this question, I've been wondering if I'm just not hitting the crits correctly/at the right time, or if I should only be seeing the numbers I am seeing. Currently the highest number MBI has recorded for me was somewhere in the 13-15k range, nowhere along the lines of the 40k+ range I have been seeing you and other talk about. I tested ignite stacking in Well of Eternity where I can get the stack correctly with relative ease, I have seen (albeit with the 50% damage increase) MBI report numbers as high as 40-50k, so I don't believe I am doing something wrong unless I am just using the crits at the wrong time.
I feel like I'm rambling but my final question to conclude my previous is can you refer me to any addons that would otherwise help me track the most recent crit from a fireball or pyroblast in order to relieve some of errors I am facing regarding when to use hot streaks, etc.
Again, thank you for the post, your help is greatly appreciated.
