Rerolling a rogue.

Hello everyone!

I've been reading a lot about rogues recently. But it seems to me like there's no obvious answer - which race is indeed the best for PvE rogue?
I spoke to some top rogues on my realm - in their opinion "the best race" changes in order to professions comp - they say: "If you go Engineering, you definitely want to be a Goblin", otherwise - not.

Could anyone tell me which professions/race (Horde) shall I go if I want to optimize my dps?

If you care about maximizing your DPS, Troll ist the best race for all three specs. As far as professions are concerned, Blacksmithing gives the highest DPS benefit if you gem two 50 Agi gems in the additional sockets. Aside from that Leatherworking, Enchanting, Inscription, and Engineering are all on par with a benefit of 80 Agi. Engineering might be on top depending on which spec you play and if you can stack it with CDs accordingly.
