Hey Guromin and thanks for the fast reply. I tested it on a dummy, with a shaman in the party for the 5% raid buff. I Also made sure I had 10 stacks of stolen time (so I also kept casting fireball while combustion was up so the stacks wouldn't go lost while ticking).
Does it make a difference if I do it on a target dummy or not?
And yeah i haven't raided yet with my guild as fire spec, cuz I was asked to and also planning myself to go fire again cuz it's alot more beneficial on some encounters this tier. So while struggling with the soft haste cap and theorycrafting I stumbled on this issue :).

@Cooleded,
Yes. With t13 4 set (or 2 set) you should go for 1505 haste.
@LopStaR,
Before I begin discussing ways to get more critical strike I will first say that with RNG you are going to win some and you're going to loose some.
First off, being a Worgen might help you out with the additional 1% crit rating. I understand if that is impractical or for aesthetic purposes you would rather remain a gnome. Here is a new way to reforge so you get more crit and reach hit cap.
Head : MasteryRating -> HasteRating
Shoulders : HasteRating -> HitRating
Chest : HitRating -> CritRating
Waist : HasteRating -> HitRating
Legs : MasteryRating -> HasteRating
Feet : HasteRating -> HitRating
Wrists : MasteryRating -> HitRating
Hands : HasteRating -> CritRating
Ring1 : HasteRating -> CritRating
Ring2 : MasteryRating -> HitRating
Back : MasteryRating -> CritRating
MainHand : HitRating -> CritRating
If the boss is going to take double damage soon it is a good idea to pre-cast Pyroblast, release Mirror Images, or Flame Orb before. I think of it as preemptive damage. You should try every single time to get that big ignite when you want it, but if it doesn't happen be ready to settle for something else a few seconds later.
In regards to switching from t12 to t13 I've made 2 or 3 posts already about it and when you should switch so I'm going to keep my answer here short. Feel free to review my previous comments. In your gear it is a theoretical upgrade when you have 2 LFR items and 2 Normal items, however, in actuality several fights cause it will be an upgrade even with 384 ilevel gear. Since it is difficult to calculate the duration of a fight and the number of combustions that will be used varries it is difficult to calculate for sure which is an upgrade. I prefer to use the set bonus even if it's a slight loss on a few fights because of how much of an upgrade it is on others.
@yumo,
Unfortunately there isn't a way for any addon to determine the size of ignite before it ticks. Factors such as ignite munching and ignite stacking make it more complicated to calculate than simply estimating based on 40% of the most recent critical strike. The best way to combat this is to be ready and have a stop casting macro for combustion so that it can be applied in a heartbeat. I believe I listed this macro in the guide if your curious.
@Mowb,
What you hit doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is what buffs you have in terms of Combustion ticks. Just so you know, the number of ticks Combustion has is based on your haste when you cast Combustion, not while Combustion is on the target. If you have 25% haste when you haste it and 2 seconds later you loose 1000 haste (for whatever reason) Combustion will still have 3 extra ticks. The same goes for other hots and spells that you cast. If you cast Fireball at 1.3 seconds and loose 1000 haste right after the cast time will remain the same. However, if you loose 500 intellect mid cast the intellect will not factor into the damage when the spell hits.

Cooled,
Without getting too math-y about it, you shouldn't think that you need to "wait" on using combustion, but instead think you have more time to get a good ignite. If an ignite appears that is larger than what you believe to be common, that will likely do more damage than having 1 additional tick of smaller ignite.
Napkin math to prove a point:
number of ticks with full stacks Value of Dots
14 x [20,000 (ignite) + 3,000 (living bomb) + 2,5000 (Pyroblast dot)] = 375,000 damage
13 x [25,000 (ignite) + 3,000 (living bomb) + 2,5000 (Pyroblast dot)] = 448,500 damage
**Please note that the values for Pyroblast and living bomb are irrelevant for this math. I obtained the numbers by using Combustion on a target dummy that had only that dot on it. In a raid setting those numbers may differ.
**Please also note that Combustion ticks can crit.
**Last note that each dot will not tick for a set amount. They all have a range. Be mindful, that in reality it may not add up to be as much as the theoretical data shown above.
The point of all this math is to show that the size of the ignite is more important than the number of ticks in Ignite. Personally, I view the set bonus as the ability wait longer for a better ignite without loosing damage. Until I reach 10 stacks of Stolen Time, none of Combustions CD time is wasted. As I keep attacking the CD of the next one is reduced, so the window to get a good first combustion is huge. If for some reason absolutely nothing good comes up by the time I reach 10 Stacks of Stolen time, I can take a common ignite and be given an additional combustion tick as compensation.

Hello there,
I´m looking for some more informations about Ti´thak.
Especially Ti´thak nhc.
Our raid is having the following characters with legendary:
- 1 Owl
- 2 Warlocks
- 1 Shaman
We killed Hagara HC, so i have to decide between
- Ti´thak nhc
- Lightning Rod HC
- Rathrak + trash-drop offhand
The final question is "What should we do?"
What is the best thing for raiddps?
I´m searching around but can´t find much information.
I think our restro-druid loves me with ti´thak, but you know..
Yours sincerely, Cran and thx for your very nice support by nearly every question in this thread! <3
PS: Sorry for my bad english <.< I hope you understand, what i wanted to say ^_^

Cran,
Rathrak is not very good in comparison to the others. Lightning rod will give you the best individual damage, but Ti'thak will give your raid the most damage.
Good work with your progress :)

Another question =D
If you have the T13 2 piece bonus, should you stack haste to 1505 instead of 2005? I personally doubt it but would like to hear your opinion?
Thanks

Yumo,
You should go for 1505 haste. It's about the stacking haste and not the reduced CD on Combustion, but in my posts I say the "t13 4 set" because using the t13 2 set is not a dps increase if you are replacing the t12 4 set.

Hello Guromin,
Iam new here but I have few questions.
First of all this is http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/frostmane/Volrather/advanced my character.
Going after ur tip that after getting 4 parts of tier 13 you should get haste around 1505 I noticed high DPS loss.
This log is after reforge (overall) http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/rt-r ... amageDone/
and this one before http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/rt-8 ... amageDone/ .
Could you tell me whats wrong? :P
And btw could you explain me like you would describe a retarded person what are the perfect conditions to cast combustion couse last days when I started reading everything about it I got so damn confused. First of all does Ignite stack? I mean if I get few crits in short period of time will Ignite get higher than from 1 high crit? Second thing for example shall I cast combustion after seeing 1 rly high crit immidietly? What is high crit now for good combustion? Because I read here that if u notice rly high crit you shouldnt wait to let him tick but going that way I had rly low combustion around I guess 5-6k.:P (Rly before reading all those things my combustion usage was much easier and much more effective i guess ^^) Could give me any hints?
P.S. One more if I am trying to get high combustion while spamming FB using hot streak is wise or no?
