Is infernal ever worth using?

I was wondering if the infernal was worth using this tier. I tried doing experiment this week but I think I messed it up no moonwell / pot I think I did around 400k damage on one yor black phase plus ~100k from the stun. By comparison my dg does around 800k on ultra. I noticed that its melee hits were very low only 3k. I don't believe there is any fight were it will be able to continuously aoe for the entire 80sec duration.
