Did anyone happen to get the trinket http://www.wowhead.com/item=77207 this week and get a chance to do any testing with it for Marksman? I'm curious about the proc rate & DPS gained from the proc.

i Rogue in my guild got it, and it proced for 35k normal and around 60k crit, but when i was gonna test it, it only proced for 15k crit, i think the scaling on it is bugged. if they havent fixed it already

Its not bugged, rogues have sublety talent which decreases targets armor 70%. Increases the proc effectiness HUGELY since its physical damage. It also scales from your ap. BiS Trinket for hunter.

You say its the BIS what are the 2 trinket BIS? I was under the impression that Wrath of unchaining and Starcatcher compass were our BIS.

It seems that Vial and Wrath are BiS trinkets for both specs (SV and MM). Compass might be better if your playing as MM AiS dump. Wrath is hands down best trinket you can get and Vial is around 450 dps better than compass without AiS dump.

I agree that Unchaining is easily the best trinket this tier. As for the 2nd trinket slot I'm leaning towards Vial myself.

Out of curiosity what do you think about using Kiroptyric Sigil for fights like Spine where the on-demand burst would be preferred over random procs?

yeah sigil is really good trinket on Spine, but atm hunters aren't really welcome to spine fight cause, they cant burn that much damage in 23 secs than other classes can.

Ya, it's rather sad how little our burst is in comparison to the other pure dps specs. I'm not sure if I've seen a Spine video with a hunter in it yet.
