Tier 12 4-Pieces question

Hey wazup, so i'm having a bit of troubles deciding what to pick, im currently with Tier 12 using only 3 pieces, i don't know if going 4 pieces if viable for this reason: im mitigation capped this meaning i have 102,4% ( Miss+parry+dodge+block ), and i don't know if i should switch my off-set shoulders for the tier shoulders because since it gives 12% parry when divine protection is used, im afraid it won't help me at all since i'm already capped in mitigation and that those 12% parry will be a waste, and if so i would preffer the off set shoulders since they are better in terms of stats, So lazeil or anyone else what the fuck am i supposed to choose?

well thats an obvious question! if you are mitigation capped why cap even more? simple answer dont choose the tier shoulders :D

Unless you know that you are going to be replacing something that might take away that mitigation then you would get the tier piece :)

well that's what i did, but my doubt was if parry>block in the formula, meaning that if i used divine protection even if mitigation capped, instead of wasting the 12% parry, 12% block would be waisted and for me that would be better than having an offset shoulders

Hi,

Go for the 4 piece T12 bonus.
The +12% parry you gain after Divine Protection expires goes into avoidance, and avoidance takes precedence over mitigation in the formula. Let's say you have the 4 piece T12 and 16% dodge, 16% parry and 65,4% block. This gives you 37% avoidance (dodge,parry and miss) and 65,4% mitigation (block) for a Combat Table Coverage (CTC) of 102,4%. When you get +12% parry you'll have 49% avoidance and only 53,4% mitigation for the full CTC (the waste goes into block as it is a mitigation stat). Hope this helps.

Ok, this also applys to windwalk i suppose? because i replaced it for mending(for tests), because i thought the 600 dodge were being waisted, so windwalk right?

Windwalk is god(I've intentionally left out an "o" here), since the movement speed stacks even with Pursuit of Justice. So winning.
