Hi everyone,I have a question/s to ask.
Here is my armory link: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/n ... tul/simple

And here comes my question/s:
Can someone tell me what is wrong with him? Sometimes I get very big hits (hardmode).
Is my talent build good for 10man raids?(elitistjerk talent build)
What is the usual start rotation on a boss?
Why sometimes Outbreak on a start of the fight misses?
Is my parry/dodge + mastery good?
Are my gems good choosed?
What I have to change?

So those are said,I come at the 1st question, can someone tell me what is wrong with my char?

P.S. Never I don't have luck on the loot.

Many thanks,Zératul.

Ok m8 as far iam conserned to both played aspects dps-tank for guild needs i can say a few things,
OK i took some time to search your stats your gemming ,enchants. So 1st of all i think having so low hit is bad.You still question your self why outbreak misses.
O.64% hit is pretty bad dont u think?
Why 0 60+ stamina gem?Tbh thats not a problem cause like this dude here http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/i ... ros/simple wich is actually one of the best dk tanks in the world.
Still i think the only prob u may have is the hit. That may hold u back and u loose outbreak or aggro.
On the other hand the talents i would just say since u are in a 10man choose each talent with patience.U may need another spec for each fight.Sometimes more dmg sometimes more survivibility.
I actually a pretty good geared dk with progression.I dont find a way why u should actually have a problem on your tanking.
If u have problems on survavibility test your healers.Maybe its their fault u dont live long enough. As dk u should have problems like this i still believe we are the best choice in certain encounters.
Now about rotation,Outbreak heart strike death strike for healing (save cds for tough phases)rune strike choose wisely between rune strike and death coil.Anyway synti and nize should know better.
P.S Sorry for my english.

far from I know is that tanks don't need hit rating and exp,not if they are on single target. + outbreak is calculated by spell rating.Am I wrong?

He is doing 25 man that is why he has different talents + glyphs .( http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/i ... nt/primary )

For starters, there is no real set rotation anymore with cataclysm out, it comes down to priorities, what I usually do is DG the skull'ed target blah blah blah, then if no CC around I through down DnD then I use whatsitcalled (the move that put all diseases on your target) and then outbreak to spred and hold aggro. (Sorry if im getting move names wrong atm, im at school lol) but after that use whatever pops and make DS your priority, and my hit is low to, we dont use hit crit or exp and such, i cant look at your armory atm, cuz like i said im at school, but gem stam, and dont beafraid to need dps plate if its an imrovement to your stam armor str ect, cuz you can always refordge, but if your raiding its best just to only roll on tank gear. I hope that helped!

hey im new to dk tanking and start to get abit confused heh

the reason for that is i hear so many diff things about stats for an example, bin reading and bin told that i should get atleast 26exp and below hitcap but when reading this post and that dk Riggnaros only have 12exp and just over 1% hit, is that realy all you need or does it depend on the current gear level you got?

this is what i got atm Lazeí
and as a beginner some say i should prob get a threat build instead but i find only survivial builds(elitistjerks only have those), so wouldnt mind a hint or 2 for a threat spec(if there is one)

would be glad for any hints/tips i can get

thnx

Hit/Expertise do little for threat, that's why raid tanks (like Riggnaros with his gear) reforge away expertise and hit for Mastery and avoidance stats.

If you are just starting to tank now then you are behind the power curve of threat and it's going to take you a while to catch up. Other people are going to be in raid gear and pulling a lot of threat for your gear level.

As far as your build, you can ditch the Lichborne build and pick up something with a bit more threat (Virulence or Abomination's Might). You shouldn't need 1 point in Mind Freeze either.

k, bin testing around abit, kept 26exp and reforged hit to avoidance/mastery so its down to like 2.53% hit(12%spell hit), but i get quite alot of yellow misses, doesnt a yellow miss mean that its harder to gain agro and keep threat since a special ability failed to land? and he got just over 1%hit.
so isnt a low +hit and exp dk tank depended on others in raid when it comes to threat? like rogues that can boost his threat alot, cause i realy fail to see how a tank with low hit+exp can build up enough threat and keep agro with lots of yellow misses otherwice.

I have 2.53% hit and 21 expertise (which is as low as I can reforge at the moment, it'll drop once I get a new weapon), and I hold threat just fine against 26K+ DPS without tricks or MD. If you're having issues on boss fights, just keep your Dark Command and Death Grip ready so you can leap frog DPS at the start of the fight.

The only time you should have aggro issues is at the very start if someone happens to burst a few crits before you get a chance to keep ahead. Misses are going to happen but, expertise/hit don't generate enough threat for us to aim for the caps. If you're worried about missing a lot get your 8% hit but, it's really not necessary.

when going for mastery like most blood dks, why is it the very same people avoid expertise/hit?
i mean you only benefit from deathstrike / blood shield when you actually hit the boss which often happens to not be the case when you need it most.

or am i wrong?

Because the chance of missing is low. I've never had a missed death strike be the cause of my death.
