Healing (with mouseover macros or without)

I'd like to hear opinions from endgame players. What do you prefer? What is recommended?

I have been playing without since now and performing better has waken interest to switch to mouseover healing. Is it worth it?
What I'm about to do is making macros to atleast half of my spells and abilities to be able to cast them to mouseover targets, however they work normally even if I'm not mouseovering anyone.

-Any advantages healing with mouseover macros?
-Any disadvantages?
-What addons do you recommend for healing in general (such as raid frame addons)?

I would appreciate if someone from Paragon's healing group would give some advice! Thanks.

No addon reliance for one, that is a huge one (like if you use Clique or Healbot or whatever and they fail because of a patch or update), using mouseover macros frees up your mouse to move which increases reaction times. Also it is better than targeting a player then hitting a keybound heal because that is fractions of a second slower added up over an entire fight.

Running out of macro space maybe, but other than that no, if you know how to make the macros it is really easy and failproof.

Grid, maybe powerauras, other than that its gg.

Hi, this is my first post, and I am here for the best question i could ever been doing, as I am very concerned about it.
I would like to improve my healing performance, currently I am a Cliquer + Grid user, but would like to change to mouseover healing .
What refrains me to do so is that I really do not know how to correctly move to one side to the other.
Wich means should I use (mouse or keyboard)?
How do I move?
I do have a Logitech G15 keyboard that with a specific addon is very easy to configure for mouseovering.
I am a right hand user.

Basic Keybinding 101 - These are all keys that can be bound with minimal effort and comfort.

Rebind c to v because nameplates should be up always anyway, you can also ad in f1-f5

That will also allow you to move with wsad. You cannot bind mouseover macros to the mouse without clique, just throwing that out there, the blizzard UI absorbs mouse clicks from any button so you would need clique. Just use your mouse buttons for something like cooldowns.
