I need some Help

Hi ive been playing a druid now for sometime but stopped and started playing a dk because my guild i was in needed a melee.
Ive just started back to playing my druid as moonkin when i was raiding at the first of cata i could hold around 14K+ dps during a boss fight. now that i have started back im having trouble getting back to thoose numbers ive stared at elitist jerks post making sure on the priority i was doing. keeping up my dots using starsurge treants and starfall on cd things like that. i dont know if its my gear or what but i need some help. im open to any suggestion. i also have been using rawr to try and optimize my gear reforgeing what its suggested chants if i could afford them things like that. i eve tried out using starfire glyph over wrath glyph.

im actually over hit cap after i got some bracers last night from za im gemming brilliant inferno where the bonus isnt 20 int or more as for chants im getting what i can afford that is gonna be useful as for glyphs thats where im having a bit of trouble. accoridng to what i read on rawr starfire is the highest dps gain and that is also what i read on elitist jerks but ive been told it wasnt was trying to figure out some numbers by doing a few runs in dungeons but last night in a raid i was having to jump up on magmaw so i know that messed with my numbers a bit after magmaw i switched glyphs back to wrath. im not really sure where im messing up if im doing my rotation wrong or something. i start with insect swarm moonfire starsurge then i use my cd's then get to my eclipse then rinse repeat with refresh dots use cd's when there up.

i will go back and stare at ej for another day or so just to make sure im not messing up with gem/chants sure im missing something not sure what. thx for your post though i have all the things you linked opened in a tab so i can read them all
