Dear Hunters of Paragon, and others who visit these sites.

I have been growing more and more frustrated with Hunter DPS since 4.0.6.

I have tried MM and it could be that I don't have the rotation down or the right Stat Weights and stills eem to be low on the dps.

So what is currently the top spec MM or Surv?

For MM is the stat weight Hit > Agi > Haste > Crit > Mastery? Is there a soft cap to the haste I should get?
Is the Proper Rotation still After Serpent Shot applied, Aimshot, 2xSteady Shot, Aimshot, 2x Steady, Chimera Shot, repeat?
Durring BL or Rapid Fire do you bother to keep Serp Sting up?

If Surv is highest does the hold stat priority hold true, or is there a new one?

I have read through EJ and a few other sites, and still cannot seem to get a striaght answer.

There is no real "best DPS spec", they are very well balanced.

Survival appears to generally do slightly higher DPS in 10-man raids, while MM dominates (by a little DPS) in 25-man raiding, though I, personally, use MM for 10-man raids, I find the rotation easier to handle, and the DPS higher, but that is just my personal opinion. But if you want a straightforward answer, MM is the best, that is the result of number crunching I won't go through here, but try out Survival and Marksman, learn what suits you.

As for Marksman stat priority:

Agility > Hit (yes, Agility is over Hit, even if you are not hit capped, but still, go for Hit cap ofc) > Crit > Haste (till you get approximately 1300 (this works for me)) > Mastery.

Survival would be..

Hit (till cap)> Agility > Crit > Haste (don't touch haste in terms of reforging, go crit) > Mastery.

I find BM doing higher DPS than Survival (my opinion), might as well just summarize these:

Hit (cap) > Agility > Crit > Mastery > Haste.
