Hey,

I started raiding as a Destruction Warlock 2 weeks ago, since then I've read the guide on the mmo-champion, EJ, and Warlocks Den forums with regard rotations etc. However, I'm wondering - by viewing the video of me on a dummy - how I can improve.

The only thing I'm unsure about at the moment is whether I should let my dots: Immolate and Corruption tick till they end; refresh them exactly when they fall off i.e cast at 1 second left , or, whether I should cast them @ 2-3 seconds duration left.

I haven't cast infernal at the start, I don't use Soulburn on cd and I'm sure there are many other errors (Soulfire may be off for 1-2 seconds at times) but apart from that I'm not sure where else in terms of static dps rotation I can improve upon. I've tried viewing your videos to find PoV's of your locks rotations but can't find any (Manni with Afliction only).

Here's a link to my armoury:

I got given the staff and it was a huge upgrade from the 333 ilevel item I had before, still not ideal. I would gem int on the helm but I need the hit, haven't got lavawalker yet.

and to my video:

I use weak auras for my timers in the middle.

I tend to pull between 15k (Helter-Skelter: Ascendant Council) to 21k (Static(ish)-Magmaw) in damage currently. I'm sure once I'm more comfortable with the class and fights I'll be able to perform better.

Thank's for your help.

Hey,

here's the link again :)

And thank you. So far people have said to put in a bane of doom between the immolate and conflag that's about it. They've also recommended an addon called snowfall, but I'm not sure whether to use it.
