  • Chinamen!

    Hello China!
First when we woke up after most awesome sleep i ever had, we went for the breakfast. I was like tourist in the buffee, tbh i was tourist so why not! I was so hungry, but still i didn't really know what to eat cause everything was so exotic and i never tasted them before. In the end i just took pretty much everything what looked good.

  • Nize does China - part II

After the nice and tidy first entry it's time to get down and dirty with what really happened in China. Why did the ~10 minute bus ride from the restaurant to the bar take over 1 hour, what's Stefano's (aka George aka Obama aka the only black guy in Changsha) real name, why does the rice always arrive at the table after we've mostly eaten already and how did arx and deva stumble upon a spa with shady services in the middle of the night after we all left the club. These are some of the questions which may be left unanswered even after reading our blogs but hopefully you get at least something out of em.

  • Nize does China - part I

First entry, better late than never! I had some thoughts written up before our trip but didn't manage to finish it since I was doing everything pretty much at the last minute. Also the fact that I wasn't feeling particularly well during the morning of the day we were leaving might have had something to do with it (yeah it truly was a great idea to get drunk the night before).

  • Xodan's China Blog: Epilogue

An epilogue?! What the hell, where is rest of the stuff?! Well, it’s in the works, but synching up photos from 8+ cameras and plowing through notes takes surprisingly long time plus all the RL stuff left undone before the trip are pressing on a little bit. So I thought I’ll start with my feelings now right after returning from the trip, while they are still fresh in mind. I’ll try to get at least one or two entries done per day now that I’m back in home.

  • I can see my house from here

Ever wonder how things always seem to come up at the last minute? As I'm writing this, I'm sitting in a bus heading for work. After that I have a workshop and some stuff to pick up. And the flight leaves in 7 hours.

It's somewhat surprising how much work is involved in arranging such a trip (and not just talking about myself here). I'm hugely happy to realize that the brunt of it is done, and after these seven hours, all that remains is the trip itself. Yay!
