Hey.

It probably sounds wierd and crazy for you guys, but is it possible to buy a one-night raidspot in ur guild? Let me give an example; You buy a spot in your raid for maybe 50k gold, or more. You will be able to raid through the whole instance on 25 HC mode with Paragon as a guild, and get the opportunity to get heroic gear AND just get the opportunity to play with you. There are certain requirements of course (from my point of view) - You have to know the tactics for each boss.

(I am a DK on Stormscale - i was just wondering - i wouldnt transferred my char even if u would accept it - just fun to know if it works;) )

I really don't think it's anywhere close to worth the hassle for 50k. Add another zero or two and there might be some interest.

It's just that there's really not much need for the in-game gold - anyone who's slightly more interested in making some is already sitting at 200k-1M pile of gold.

Even less so if loot is included.

What about a contest? If so let's say u make a give a way contest like other sites do, Ensidia giving away beta keys etc. But a run true icc 25 hm's. I have no ide what the contest would be about, but again it would be giving somthing too the fan's:) And the Lich King kill wouldent be needed even, and if u feel really nice, the run could just be with everything the winner wants he gets even the mount.
I know its a long shot, still could be fun for the one that did win the contest.
Most the gear the guild farms are even offspecs or getting DE. Mount should soon be in every raiders stable now. But again you didnt need the give away the whole run.
I know prolly a stupid ide, but i think many would come just for the fun off it. Even gear wouldent matter, i know i would just come for the run. Just think abou plaing with the best raiders in the world, how awesome wouldnt that be.

One of the biggest problems is that the winner would need to migrate to Lightning's Blade and back, which means that he actually needs to pay real life money for winning a contest. Doesn't sound that tempting to me at least.

I see it, but i bet people would pay for it, or not it could only be for LB, i am not on the server etc, but for real its not a big cost, people trasfers realms for paying a guild too boost them true icc for a drake, that compared too raiding with some of the best pve in the game seems like a pretty cool thing too do. And even if it cost real life money, just state that if u win or sign Paragon aint paying, so we all know, and i bet there are tons that would do it just for being on vent with 24 finish people that play so pro that u would be pretty stunnd of it:)
I think so, but maybe thats just me:P

Well - I agree with Xenophics with the money - but when it comes to gear obtained by raiding through ICC25 HM - i think many would have used real money on it. Here's an example i've seen many people do - they buy a gamecard at their local shop, and sell it for around 10K gold on WoW to buy created gear (for example) at AH. This means, in my opinion, that people, easely, would pay for the migration required for raiding with you.

Personaly, i think a raidspot-contest would make a great effort for people. I even think you will gain more fans AND a much bigger WoW network.(dont misunderstand why I just wrote).

Regards.

im from england but i'd pay £500 GBP for a spot in ICC25 hc's i have 12/12 in 10man hc and 6/12 in 25man know tacs and is a geared DK unholy spec. I dont know what £500 pounds would translate to but im sure its more than 50k gold in game :)

You'd put up that much money for one full ICC25 HC clear? Or would you expect a multitude of runs (or items)?

Just curious to understand how someone would actually pay that much cash for a raidspot.
