Paragon video rendering and recording settings

Hello Paragon!
I've been trying to get as good quality as possible for my movies as possible, but i cant come close to the quality you guys get at Sinestra movie as an example so i would love if you could asnwer these questions about rendering and recording options.

Which resolution is used to record with?
Which program is used for rendering the movie?
Which codec do you render with?
Do you change the aspect ratio to fit for youtube?
And do i have to change aspect ratio to make it better for youtube if i record with 1920x1080?

please add more info about about the movie making process if you want to =)
