Hi, I just have a quick question about phase 2 of this encounter, our healers are having problems keeping up for the duration of the second phase. What is your opinion of using Bloodlust in this phase to not only make it quicker but to assist in healing output as well? Also, i cannot find a range for explosive cinders, it only says a small radius. Does anyone know the exact yardage of the ability?

What's your healer composition? I cannot stress enough the importance of arranging a full group of five for each priest platform.

We have Disc priest, and a holy priest. Yes we already arranged groups for prayer of healing, on top of that we have 3 holy pally's a resto shamy and resto druid, So my platform is me and holy priest, then we have Disc priest hpally resto shammy on1, then Holy pally Resto druid on the last pillar. I personally was going oom when our add was at about 40% hp, I am using Aura mastery as we are floating up to the pillar to compensate for little casted heals and for the possibility for someone to immediatly get cinders. Then going to my pet after that then just using cd's + radience.

Please tell me if i seem to be dumb or anything, i am obviosly not as good as you guys and would appreciate any help i can get, thanks :)

Sure you can use lust in ph2 if that's the hard one for you. P3 healing isn't as tight especially in 4.0.6.

Did you guys not have much of a problem with p2 when you were first progressing on the fight?

Phase 2 was problematic when we started learning the fight on hard mode, but most of the deaths were either interrupt fails or us not surviving the start of the phase. We take one crackle in phase 2, and for instance on our platform we have dk's using ams, I use dispersion and mages iceblock. I think we also get Divine Guardian there, so it never really felt super dangerous.

There are a few tricks that help with phase 2 and one of them is to get everyone up to the platform as fast as possible. Take the water collision of from your character and when the lava comes, swim upwards a bit further away from the platform, and then you can just swim sideways and jump straight the the platform. If a healer fails to get up fast it's double bad because he'll not be able to heal while swimming and the other healer needs to burn mana on him. Also, NEVER jump while you are in the lava. You take extra damage that way.

The explosive cinders come in the beginning of the phase, and we have discipline priests using pain supressions on them. You can also use for instance holy priest wings or Hand of Sacrifice from paladins. There is also something hybrids can do. For instance I've been on Ilo's and Kahva's/Kyy's platform pretty much each time. So I throw renew on the whole party and a Prayer of Mending just before the lava comes, go to shadow form and shield myself. I also assist on the platform if for instance one of the healers get cinders and our group is low. I might also help topping my group just before the lava comes if it looks like those 2 healers need help. I also use my priest hymns if needed, and druids on other platform are called to use tranquility when needed.
