Sorry to waste anybody's time, but there were not many other places i could think to post on such a topic. The more detail the answer includes, the greatfuller i am; but don't feel inclined to write an essay.

In your opinion's, what would the optimal 10 man team be for non - hardmode raiding?

A structure is wanted for our new guild that will make it as easy as it is possible for us to reach the nearer ends of x/12, although we are not intrested in HM yet. We have a rough idea on what would be adequate, taking into account each individual spec's bonus's in conjuction with other spec's, but would still like a more experienced hand's opinion on it and what different class's bring what to a raid; what we can do without and what is a must.

Thanks for your time, and we look foward to your answers.

My guilds alt 10m raid group knocked out 5/6 bwd, 2/4 bot, 1/2 TotFW in a matter of like 4 hours and 2 of the 10 people didnt know the fights very well and some didnt know how to play they're role very well in some fights.

Our setup was

Prot pally
blood dk

Holy Priest
Disc Priest
Resto Shaman

Enhance Shaman
Frost (occasional fire) mage
Fire mage
Demo Lock (occasional dest)
Fury warr

On some fights where it required 1 tank I made my blood dk go unholy.

We had 0-2 wipes on each fight. The only exception is chim which we wiped 3 times on. I cant say this is the best as the pally could be a druid but the raid wall is nice.

We did use drums though if I remember right and then used might. So we covered that buff.

As again I'm not sure this is the best setup but we had alot of luck with it and keep in mind we all pretty much knew the general idea of fights and experienced them first hand on our mains

You don't need anything close to "optimal" setup for 10man normal modes, any decent setup should be able to do those. If you want to optimize, head over to RaidComp at mmo-champion and figure out a setup that gives as many buffs/debuffs as possible.
