Hello everyone,
In less than a week Cataclysm will go live and I'd like to ask the Paragon members and also all other users of this forum if they prepare for Cataclysm and how.
The question relates to in-game and real life preparations. Have you stocked up on Flasks? Prepared Enchanting Scrolls? Filled the fridge with food and drinks? Took vacation?
What have you done to be ready for Cataclysm?
Be encouraged and feel free to post screenshots. Me (and most others probably) love seeing screens of stacked up bags and banks or filled fridges, mountains of candy or even the soon-to-come lan-party to level with friends.
Tell and show us what you got!

I seriously doubt that we have to stay awake for inhumane amount of time, but I'll throw in my 50 cents.
My personal tip is not to eat too much sugar or junk food. Sugar gives a nice boost to your vigilance almost instantly, but your blood sugar will drop very quickly.
Ordering a kebab or pizza might sound like a good idea since you save time by not making food yourself, but junk isn't iron-rich and it doesn't have much carbs in it.
Carbs and iron can help you stay awake for longer periods.
Drink a lot of water or other fluids, you'll have to use bathroom more often but it'll definitely keep you awake and make you feel less tired. This is by far the easiest and most important thing to do if you need to stay awake.
Drinking coffee or energy drinks helps a lot, you can really drink either, they don't have much variation on their effects. However you should avoid caffeine overdose (~300 mg in a day), it can cause all kind of wonderful effects like psychosis and hallucinations or even kill you.
Now some practical tips:
Don't think you can overcompensate for sleep, your body is used to some certain amount of sleep. If you sleep more than what its used to, you'll end up tiring quicker and feel lethargic. However you should probably time your sleeping that you wake up ~2-3 hours before launch. This gives you time to sleep more if you STILL feel tired or you can do a physical exercise (lol wow players) to wake yourself up.
Don't go to take a nap. We had a guy in our previous guild, (who shall remain unnamed) He was in one of our wotlk dungeon leveling groups and he was really tired for being awake for too long, so he wanted to take just a little 30 min nap.
He came back 16 hours later.
I hope this helps!

Thank you for the extensive answer. I wasn't really looking for help / advise but just want to know how people prepare to hopefully read and see some die-hard preparations.
(Idea stems from a blog Kungen once wrote about how he leveled in WotLK including pics of his candy filled table etc..)

I started my preparations yeasterday when I slashed my hand with a knife at work, the stiches are on my left hands middle finger so I need to re-bind my rogues sinister strike =(.
On the preparation side of liquids n stuff; i'm going to my friends place so we both keep eachother awake, bringing my 0.5l beer glass for the water, buing some vegetables (apples mainly), few energy drinks and some candy. I'm planning on doing some food to the fridge before the launch so I dont need to start making it during the leveling.

I and arx will do our "stacking" during the weekend, so expect more pictures then.
During the last few days I've been doing some low level quests
just to have some casual fun before balls go to the walls, we put our gamefaces on etc.
On Sunday I'll disenchant my pvp gear, buy the flasks needed for leveling, mail the mana potions back to xenophics from alts (THIS HAPPENS WHEN XENO GOES HOLY!), empty my bank and the inventory, buy some items to level the first skillpoints of engineering/enchanting with old formulas, make enchantment scrolls for the new gear, buy head/shoulder enchants (x2) to have them ready when I ding, make intellect gems for the new gear I'll get and have the character ready every possible way.
Stay tuned for our food stacking, arx is an awesome cook.

I'll be the healer in our leveling group, and if shadow priests continue to be on the bottom of the damage meters I'll go holy when needed. There is no way we'll take gimp classes to our raids when we can take better classes/specs in.

Do NOT drink energy drinks, they contain a lot of sugar which consequences Jubeto noted down already.

All those eating tips are nonsense. Just eat. Or don't. You'll stay awake either way if you want to.
IRL:
I'll change my sleep cycle so that I wake up just before release.
Stock up on food.
Might buy energy drinks. I don't really feel the effects of these.
Vacuum my apartment
Study for the exam on 14th
In game:
Enchant scrolls
Gems
100 mana pots
26 northrend quests
Dungeon entrance
Bags empty
