Holy vs. Disc: What to chose in 10 man(Encounterspecific)

I looked at your Raidcomposition with your 10man kill and noticed, that you mainly use Holy(except Alysrazor). Was that Players preference or was that an performance issue?

Why did you chose the spec you used for the different encounters??

Ähm hope i got your answer right. Normally there is only the Performance issue. But if both specs would be equally Bad/good. There might be the comfort joice.
