Heroic Saurfang 25

Hello lovely people of Paragon!

My guild has been having trouble with H Saurfang 25. We have plenty of attempts where we get him down to 1-3% then a marked person would die and cause a wipe (one time even a mage got the 6th mark and 5 seconds later would die, we even yelled on vent for him to iceblock but he replied "was casting spelled, I should have canceled and Iceblocked"). Can any of you guys give us any tips to get through this Cock Block boss :)? We usually run 4-5 paladins so the first wave of boiling bloods are BoP'd asap. Adds are being handled pretty well, (Sometimes people are getting 1shotted by the adds because they cannot kite, especially our hunters ... fml). On that note are there any tips for the adds as far as the hunter kiting goes? Anyway to maximize their dps while doing this type of job? The boomkin and Hunters are always last on DPS.

On that note are there any tips for the adds as far as the hunter kiting goes? Anyway to maximize their dps while doing this type of job? The boomkin and Hunters are always last on DPS.

Kiting? What? You're supposed to kill the adds, not kite them... ;)

Hehe well we have 1 hunter on far left add, 2 range on front left add, 1 hunter on far right add, and 2 range on front right add, and finally 2 range on front middle add. The hunters sorta kite their add until the other range get their adds down then help them out.

Edit: After Saurfang Cockblock we went strong and killed 4 more HMs! 8/12 now :) ty Paragon!

Even though you killed it already i might add, that a frost mage with Blizzard on adds will help alot on the adds.. Makes life for hunters ALOT easier, and will increase their DPS significantly. You should also get a destru warlock with Shadowfury (you are already), and i can also see in your WoL that you don't use a Demonology warlock either, this will increase your raid's overall spellpower by ~ 250.

A good tip is to assign adds for the ranged DPS... We did that, and i can see our ranged DPS are doing ~ 700 DPS more than yours on average :D

Hehe thanks. Our raid does use a demo lock, if you look carefully he's Tasuki lol :P
