Lich King Encounter

Okay, so this one has been a headbanger for my guild. Lucky for me, I have a mature guild of peeps who keep coming back for more.

That being said, before the patch, we were working our DPS and heals into doing the right thing. Got that down pat, then the patch hits. Now, our extremely competent tanks are dropping like flies, and it seems no matter how good (or the number) of healers, nothing seems to be able to stop at least one from dying after the p1-p2 transition. I even went from my hunter to my drood in the latter attempts to assure heals were on-par. Truthfully, defile and valkyr's are now old-school and it seems keeping the tanks alive is our new enemy.

With alot of tank mitigators now gone by the wayside, I can use any advice which I can give my tanks about surviving this encounter, as even in the log reviews, I'm not finding any avenue not taken.

Farming t10 so they get 4 set bonus will help them both :)

No argument. A task more easily completed with the Lich King down, progression point made, and more ability to farm JP's. On the behalf of my tanks, however, none of these issues existed pre-patch, and they are still taking alot of damage well...

But how to keep them alive when it appears now the Lich King has a 65% crit rating against toons with only a 1% chance to be critted is now the question.
