Reforging questions

using elitist jerks i read with the 2-set t13 i need 1505 haste rating. so i went to reforge put in 17% hit 1505 haste and reforged and it seems like my dps has lowered did i reforge wrong.

Hi Pixel,

I am actually the author of the Elitist Jerk's thread so I can only tell you that what is says is correct. Reforging should follow the pattern of Hit > Haste to 2005 (1505 with t13 2 set) > Crit rating > Hate over 2005 (1505 with t13 2 set) > Mastery.

The problem with your damage is in your crit rating. Fire Mages need lots of crit and you only have 777. Use WowReforge.com to help with your reforging. It does a great job of optimizing your gear.

Here is what it should look like. Use this as a guide to check and see if you are correct instead of a cheat sheet.


Head : MasteryRating -> HitRating
Neck : HasteRating -> CritRating
Shoulders : MasteryRating -> HitRating
Chest : HasteRating -> CritRating
Waist : HasteRating -> HitRating
Legs : MasteryRating -> HitRating
Feet : HitRating -> CritRating
Wrists : MasteryRating -> HitRating
Hands : CritRating -> HitRating
Ring1 : HasteRating -> CritRating
Ring2 : MasteryRating -> CritRating
Back : MasteryRating -> CritRating
OffHand : HasteRating -> CritRating
Ranged : MasteryRating -> CritRating

ok i understand the priority i just dont know how to use wowreforge effectively. here is a updated armory link. should i be putting those in the caps?

I do not put anything in the caps because it at my gear levels I always end up with more than 1505 haste.
