Alright, sounds good. And i do use timetodie and timetooom.

One final question and i'll be on my way.
Concerning working a deal out with a rogue at the beginning of the fight for TotT. I'm threat capped most of the time as it is, wouldn't this make me pull threat? and how would i go about applying and reapplying corruption as i currently reapply once for t10 proc >25% hp and i reapply when the boss is <25% preferably if t10 proc is up. Thanks again, you've been a great help.

You could also make a deal with your paladins and get a salvation or 2 in the beginning of the fight, and maybe later on if soulshatter isn't enough.

And make a deal with the other rogues and hunters that they'll put their abilities into good use on the tank... ;)

I'm back with a couple more questions on getting the most out of my dps.

First off, according to http://elitistjerks.com/f80/t37900-dots ... read/#Gems ; I should break socket colors using 23 spell power in all sockets (after meta is activated) with bonuses less than or equal to 5 spell power. Only bonuses which are equivalent to 6 spell power, 6 haste rating or 9 crit rating (spirit and intellect bonuses will never be high enough) should be matched; 12 spell 10 haste for yellow, 23 spell for red and 12 spell 10 spirit for blue. This being said I see many people geming 12sp 10haste even if the socket bonus is equal to 5sp (especially the ashen verdict ring). And according to the chart; also given in the EJ thread they are correct. The chart is ass following-

Stat------------early T10 / high end T9(icc245)
hit rating---------------2.50 (equivalent to 0 after hit capped)
spell power------------1.85
haste rating-----------2.04
crit rating--------------1.23
spirit-------------------0.94
int----------------------0.44

{Ashen verdict ring example; yellow socket with 5 spell power socket bonus. 23 spell power - 23*1.85=42.55, 12 spell power 10 haste and 5 spell power bonus - 17*1.85=31.45 + 10*2.04=51.85 therefor 51.85 > 42.55}

So as this shouldn't result in a huge dps increase i was just wondering your opinion(s) on this; more curious than anything.

Finally, is it possible to reach the amount of haste(not relying on procs) where Amplify curse isn't needed?

Thanks,
Metrius

/script PlaySoundFile("Sound\\Creature\\XT002Deconstructor\\UR_XT002_Special01.wav")

That is for blue sockets.

Metrius wrote:should be matched; 12 spell 10 haste for yellow, 23 spell for red and 12 spell 10 spirit for blue.

Yes, those are the gems you want to socket in general, hit gems are a good choice if you're not capped.

23 sp vs 12 + 5 sp and 10 haste = 6 sp vs 10 haste
haste is a good stat, almost equal to sp, but not quite so it wouldn't make much sense to skip a nice bonus like that on a yellow socket.

You should notice the early T10 / high end T9(icc245) part, the scaling at ilvl 264+ is totally different. If you pick up numbers from that chart, you would notice that haste is the best stat and you probably would slam haste gems to all over your gear.

Yes it is, but then you need a full haste gear/gems and that doesn't make much sense dps wise.

Goddamn, this fissure skill is inaccurate.

sorry for reviving this forum, but i just wanted to give a big thanks to everyone that helped me out. I have not received a single upgrade since the last 25 saurfang parse i linked and have improved my dps by 2k, even though tho the fight was much shorter, i improved my dps to about where i want it with this gear.
