I had a quick question for a paragon affliction warlock (probably Tsukky). Because you have a demo lock in your raid, the Improved Shadow Bolt Debuff is redundant (I believe). Would it be better to disregard the destruction tree and put 13 points into the Demonology tree to get the Demonic Aegis?

Or would this be bad because of the loss of the shadowbolt damage?

Yes, You lose too much sb damage if you spec demonic aegis.

Just a quick question regarding Potion of speed vs wild magic

I was just wondering what is better, considering the fact I play demo and buffed I am sitting at 1165 haste. I started wondering yesterday because on bq 25 hc using a haste pot while BL was up hardly gave any effect (at least it didn't look as much to me)?

Or maybe it's better to use wild magic with BL and speed potion when without BL?

Personally I think there's really a haste cap that you can hit, where it's more effective to use Wild Magic pots over speed, especially as demo. I had the same question as you did, and I decided to do some testing and buffed I'm sitting at a little over 1k haste, and I did more damage when using Wild Magic over haste anywhere, regardless of BL, I did more damage in bloodlust aswell.

As Demo you are a supporter, do you think that 200sp + 200crit or 500 haste is better for support?

Hi Tsukky, Im an aff lock currently, im sitting at 32% haste self buffed, by my understanding, raid buffed, 38% is the hard cap, once I hit 38% haste self buffed (like you) wont Eradication//Black Magic be completely useless in a raid setting? Thanks for any help you can provide.

Also could you kindly elaborate a tad more on the proper uses with Rocket Boots/Saronite Bombs/Accelerators?

As far as I know wild magic is better for every warlock spec than haste pot if wild magic is popped during BL, especially for demo since it buffs the whole raids caster dps.

If haste pot would result in better raid dps then sure as hell You should pop haste pot even if You're a ''support'' class. But as stated above, yes wild magic is the best choice for a demo lock.

I'm not Tsukky but I'm still going to answer your question. I bet You mixed hard- and soft caps. Hard cap = 1s SBs without eradication/bl. Soft cap is the required amount of haste needed to cast 1s UAs and Haunts. You need 38,7%, 1269 haste rating from gear if you have all raid buffs and that is unreachable with haste gear sets. Sure you can get less than 1s ua casts with eradication or BL but still a big amount of our damage comes from SB, so the dps value of haste is still high.
Black magic is theoretically very very slightly better than 63 sp, but I still prefer to use sp enchant because I hate proc RNG.

If You're bad at throwing saronite bombs between 2 spells like 2 shadow bolts. You can easily delay the next cast even by 0.3 seconds or so, resulting in an actual dps loss. Throwing a bomb while casting an instant cast would be the most ideal time. And for rocket boots... be creative just like with teleports, you can save a lot of dps time with them, its easy and gives you yet another panic button to press.
