hi there paragon,
our locks and mages are having huge discussion on who to use DI on.
i also have been searching everywhere if some1 knows who to DI since 4.3.
but no one can give me a decent answer.
so my question:
who do you think is the best to use it on?
who do you use it on?
thank you

Highest Bidder, imo
Boomkins will *technically* give you the highest uptime
However it is the highest OVERALL raid dps gain to put it on, in order:
1. Shadow Priest
2. Fire Mage
3. Balance Druid
4. Elemental Shaman
And as far as healers go it's only really viable to put it on a Restoration Druid.

Everyone seems to be following this list: http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/813 ... ntent-(4.2 )
, although it's not updated for 4.3.
But beware of the caveat:
From what I tested, this includes Arcane Mages, since the list considers Arcane Missiles procing DI when in reality they don't. I don't know how much lower they will go in the list considering this fact, but I assume much lower.

But beware of the caveat:
There may be glitches where certain abilities do not proc Dark Intent on Critical Strike. This will lower that class' ranking.

The list takes into account highest overall DPS gain.
The personal DPS gains is a different list, where feral druids are higher. This list is only what YOU gain from who you put on DI. Meaning while you get stacks from a feral druid better than you would an elemental shaman. They gain almost nothing from the stacks you give them. And I may be wrong but I don't think haste is their best stat.
The overall takes into account what classes benefit from haste in what ways. For example, an elemental shaman would gain from the stacks you give them, and from the haste.
Overall Raid DPS differes from Personal Gains.

What list are you talking about? The one posted in the third post of this thread is the raid DPS benefit one, not the personal benefit one.
For personal benefit, according to the mmo-champion post linked by me, Balance Druid comes ahead, not Shadow Priest.

1. Balance druids
2. Fire mages
3. Shadow Priests
if you need extra healing you might want to throw DI to a restoration druid. DI priority with mages and priests vary between encounters.

Goddamn, this fissure skill is inaccurate.
