about moonwell chalice and engineering glvoes

im new at warlock, currently still getting my moonwell chalice, and i heard that this activation shares cooldowns with the engingeering gloves?

so i just want to know how you guys deal with this? eg, activating the glove before pull? or ....

and one more thing~ which skill do u bind the gloves to? :)
